Get up to speed on current events and what is happening in the world. ### 3/5 — Good if it’s working *2026-03-23, version 5.2.0* I loved this app when I first got it. The stories are statements of fact rather than one paper or another shoving an opinion in your face. However it regularly doesn’t work. Often nothing shows up when you open the app or the previous day’s stories are up all day the next today. Once the only story was some nonsense about the New Jersey housing market and today the headlines are up but the story doesn’t load. It they hired better programmers or something to deal with the several bugs it obviously has I’d give it a higher rated. ### 3/5 — Possibilities *2026-03-22, version 5.2.0* I'm pretty sure that the podcast is AI. If not, the newscasters are trying really hard to sound that way. For the most part though, the rest of the digest reads like a small town gazette. It would be amazing if we could filter out categories to completely eliminate any stories about topics like politics or a specific politician. I uninstalled the app and downloaded the most recent updated one and now I’m getting an error titled QUILL.APIERROR.2 so now the app won’t load anything at all. Someone please fix this. It now only shows the news digest for December 18, 2025. I don’t need daily riddles, or a number of the day. Just give me unbiased news and let me decide what’s good and what’s bad. Update: The most recent update allows you to hide or display certain items from your feed. I appreciate this update. In a world of extreme political polarization this is a huge breath of fresh air. The news is accurate, unbiased, fresh, and concise. Did you want to read more about a story? You can! Did you want to listen to the daily burb? You can! In addition this app is constantly being updated and improved. I emailed the dev my two pieces of feedback to make this better and they responded within 24 hours acknowledging my feedback, which is quicker than my boss gets back to me…. I hope that this app can be brought to Android soon. However, over time I realized that more and more sources were populating and eventually I began seeing all sorts of sources being pulled from what seemed like the digital abyss. How did he get access to all this, I thought? I honestly don’t know but what is the most concerning is that his privacy policy returns a domain hosting error and in turn has been broken now for at least 5 months. Reminds me in a way of Feeed - I won’t be using both again that’s for sure ### 1/5 — Quill 5.1.0 *2026-01-07, version 5.1.0* This release broke Quill. Where are the stories about mass shootings about ready to delete this app as I’m not getting any different news except for politics which I appreciate the truth, but I want all the news brought to me with truth, but I feel like I’m not getting. Everything people are important no matter where they live. You should have included the factual references made regarding the performance of Biden’s DOJ which was factually weaponized against parents, conservatives and Republicans. Remove more adjectives like “wrongly deported “ and just say deported. But you download it and are required to sign in with your Apple ID in order to use the app at all.
