Dog with a bone.
Only negative point is I find it very difficult to navigate this website
Content great app not so
It would also be good if you could have a ‘mark as read’ option to stop episodes from popping up again which has happened few times.
Other than that, keep up the good work!
Great app
Not an intuitive app
Evolving nicely!
Clunky App
Content vs App
Update: the app froze again and just stopped working. Closed and reopened didn’t work so I uninstalled and reinstalled. It running now. Very frustrating. I note many negative comments on the app please sort this out.
One huge improvement would be: if you’re listening to a series make it default to next episode unless you alter in the queue, things like that would really help.
Response from developer
Thank you for your valuable feedback. I've forwarded your suggestion about the queue to our product team. Regarding the crash reports, we've updated the app to resolve the issue and hopefully it doesn't happen again. We appreciate your input, and if you have any further suggestions or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Love content, hate the app
Response from developer
Hello and thank you for the feed back. In the latest release we have improved the user experience to improve the interactions with content. You can auto play a series by clicking on the play icon at the top of the listing. For example click on the "find out more" button on one of the Home Screen series such as Into the dirt" and press the play button in the header to play and queue all the episodes.
Best podcast channel out there
Update: improving every week
There’s a more coherent structure, which simply transforms the user experience.
After the FT, Tortoise is probably the best long form news platform.
Who thought this was an improvement?
Oh dear. What an incoherent jumble of a user experience. Content 5 ⭐️ UX 1 ⭐️ Firstly, I’m a fan of the approach to news coverage, investigations and output. Secondly, the previous app was no longer optimal. But this is not an improvement. Specifically: … usually means more information, not a dead end. Clicking anywhere on screen starts an episode playing, rather than more information about it. Lines and lines of the same title isn’t a useful index of content. Prepared to bet there’s no user group testing this, it’s prettier but less effective than previous version.
