  • Disappointed

It is not often at all that I feel this way as I’m fairly easy to please with games of all different styles however this was a huge let down for me. The artwork & music was well done and a lot of work seemed to be put into this however I’m not sure I’d call this a game at all. I wouldn’t even call it a beautiful story that you get lost in. It’s quite frustrating to play, for example moving from one screen to the next is painfully slow with almost what you would call a loading screen every time you move from one part of the scene to the next. Everything you need to do/interact with is highlighted on the screen and is very basic. I’m not sure I’ve ever paid for a game that I’ve regretted this much however I had to push through it as I’d already paid $8 for it & felt it would be a waste if I didn’t try & see if I could adjust to the gameplay or maybe as it went on it would get better. It’s a shame because it had a lot of potential!

  • Possible bug?

When I try to give the acorn to the great tree nothing happens. I was able to give it the stick, leaf and berry and they worked but the acorn won’t.
  • Highly Enjoyable Adventure

This adventure is a little short (I finished it in around 4 hours), but it is thoroughly enjoyable throughout. There aren’t many different locations, but each one is packed with character and style.

The ending is a little bittersweet, and I wish this app had the achievements other versions had, but other than that, I can find no fault with this.

Please give us a sequel soon!

  • Relaxing gameplay - shorter than expected.

Lovely animation with calming music and minimal conflict. I did find the story was very short though. Played through the game within 2 hours. Not what I was expecting for a $7 game.
  • She and the lightbearer

Amazing! Such a beautiful underrated gem !

    Short and absolutely stunning

Not much when you finish but you don’t need anything else!
  • Just ok

The artwork is beautiful but the dialogue is excessively longwinded with little choice/interaction from the user. When talking, characters appear either very angry or depressed with little variation in between. This makes all character interactions stressful or just awkward. The audio design is overwhelming and unpleasant. I had to turn the sound off to play. There is also a long lag between scenes. I was expecting a lot more from this. Disappointed.

  • This is literally a heart warming tale

This is a short, narrative adventure. Easy puzzles, and it guides you through most of them. This is a great little game for young kids - probably about 8-13 years old especially, but it is a nice escape for people of any age. Since it really is narrative-based, please take your time on the story and conversations. It’s not highly challenging. But it is worth 5 stars if you love good stories that keep you involved. The puzzles might be a bit harder for kids, so keep that in mind. There is a small amount of backtracking, but overall a bittersweet tale with room to expand if the developers so choose.

  • Great game!!

Rarely do I feel compelled to write a review for a game..At first I thought this game would be corny because of the way it starts out but I am so glad I gave it a chance! This game has such a deep meaning, surprisingly so, with the way most games are being created these days. No ads either! I am really impressed and at the age of 42, I am not impressed by much in terms of games. Greeeaat job on this one.

Love the story cute and fun and it is simple
  • Wish it was longer

Finished it in 2 days. Game and music was nice but, too easy. Wish it was longer.
