Need an app for SMH Access
Downloaded this app thinking it was for the points, to than realize its for a subscription. Please make an app for SMG access to manage points.
Unable to reserve movies for future showings
The app is only for daily purchase of tickets! Why!! You can’t even access the next day!! VERY INCONVENIENT!! CHANGE THIS!!!!
Doesn’t log on
This app keeps saying that my login is incorrect. When I tap the "Forgot my password" link, I get an "Email doesn't exist" box. However I am able to log in from my PC.
Useless app if I can't even longer in.

Great theater with horrible app
I have wanted to join the subscription service will not let me add credit card, will not let me add my loyalty card, and no one has responded to any of my issues. Guess I’m sticking with Amc A-List
Has never recognized when I’m at in theater
I like the subscription. The app is intuitive, and getting tickets is simple. Unfortunately, when time to check in, the app has never recognized when I’m near the theater. Even when Ive gone through the process of giving my name and movie ticket name and time to the counter, they go through finding my name in their system, printing my ticket off and I’m now sitting in my seat, it still says I need to be closer. 😑 Part of the appeal is that I SHOULD be able to just walk in, scan my ticket from the app and go to my seat but I haven’t had that experience yet.

Useless!
Most useless app ever! Doesn’t recognize my log in and rewards are unable to be scanned, required to be printed (who still prints out rewards in 2019)🤨
Smg
App has way too many glitches, really bad layout, so many issues picking seats.
Don’t waste your time
This app is completely useless. Their online website is also pitiful. Best part is their tech support doesn’t answer on the weekend. When do they think most people go to the movies?
Sinemia March Purge
This app is owned by Sinemia, a company to avoid! We found Sinemia service to be acceptable although kludgy and not at all user-friendly. We were willing to jump through many hoops and over many obstacles to use the service. We were almost willing to pay the many new surprise fees that popped up over time. We got caught up this week in the Sinemia March Purge, where Sinemia terminated a great many annual acounts that were not considered profitable. Sinemia alleged fraudulent use, but there was none. We paid $X for a year of service, but Sinemia terminated our accounts after 6 months, offering a $0 refund rather than $X/2. I would stay away from Sinemia until they apologize and get their act together and reinstate the many accounts they terminated. There's got to be a better business model than abusing customers like this to increase cash flow.

Not a good start, but customer service resolved quickly
Excited to say I just grabbed my first ticket on 2.20.19
I signed up over the weekend and had that “an unexpected error” occurred and got as mad as everyone else because there was no error processing my $15 subscription fee.
I wrote support and was responded to within a few hours. They issued a full refund and gave me this month for free notifying me that my membership would not automatically renew. I thought, that’s great, but it’s useless to get this month free if I can’t even get a ticket.
Well, I opened the app today and to my relief, I reserved a ticket to see “Glass” tonight.
So, it appears SMG May have finally fixed this issue preventing members from getting tickets. The app is smooth and looks sleek outside of that. So my review started at 1 Star, then updated to 3 after support responded, and now it’s 4 stars.
My reasoning behind 4 stars is that 4 movies per month doesn’t compete well with 12 movies per month at $20 from AMC A-List. Especially since SMG makes most of its money from food sales. I would like to see more than 4 movies per a month and would have signed up for A-List instead had my AMC not been 10 miles away in the city. One idea is to do 4 movies per month plus 1 bonus $5 Tuesday ticket or $5 SMG classics ticket.
