Don’t get me wrong, I love Star Stable. But.. I couldn’t play a lot, so I was very happy when I found out SSO was coming to mobile, and it looked like it took little to no storage space. I downloaded it, played, and oh boy, do I have things to talk about. The turns are not sharp at all, which bugs me because how can I train..? The turns are very wide and I have to slow down to a walk just to move properly like on PC. SSO literally fights with your battery as well, I played for maybe 30 minutes, my phone was on 77, after playing for that short amount of time, my phone was at 14. I have an older phone from 2016 so my battery is bad, but it’s never that bad. After the Equestrian Festival came out, the storage issue was so bad. I had to delete over 1,800 photos and over 130 videos just so I could play mobile while in the car on a road trip. Another thing I’ve noticed is my phone overheats so bad when I play SSO. Like I said, my phone is from 2016, the battery is messed up and it overheats a lot, but never this bad. It got so bad to the point I didn’t even want to touch my phone because it was so hot, and it took 25-ish minutes to cool down. I know you can’t fix the overheating issue, but the other things I feel like you can. SSO is a great game and this has nothing to do with SSO on PC- but if you have a PC, play SSO on the PC, it’s way better. SSO would be better mobile if you’re in the car and bored or just can’t use your PC.Show lessCayla629

For the app to function better, it would be ideal to play on a newer phone. The more files you store on your phone, the slower your phone gets. And this is especially the case if your phone is getting low on storage space. If you've saved any files on your phone that you don't intend to use anymore, it's best to get rid of those files to improve your phone's performance. If your phone is overheating, it maybe be from long hours of streaming, running too many apps at the same time, trying to use your phone with a bad signal. I love this game, it is so much fun to play except for a few small things. One of the things that annoys me most (but I understand why it is like this) is that to be able to travel to other places in the game, you have to pay irl money. Another thing that has been annoying me recently is that this game in particular just isn’t loading/letting me play. It is only this game that isn’t loading, the rest of the games on my phone works perfectly fine, then again my internet could just be the problem. I bought a starter pack earlier and it didn’t say that I have it, I don’t know if this is a glitch or not but I feel that it is something that should be fixed. I do love that we get a free horse and you get to pick what it looks like, in some games you start with nothing and/or when you get a horse (or anything really) it doesn’t let you pick what it looks like. Overall, I think this is a really great game and it is one of my favorites. <3Show lesscant stop reading!

I gave it five cause I don’t wanna be one of those people 😂 but there are a few things -let’s start with the awesome things for people reading the reviews- this game is awesome!!! The graphics are amazing and you get to pick and customize yourself and your horse- and for parents who don’t like online games this game doesn’t ask for personal info! And it doesn’t allow chat unless your email is verified so it’s pretty safe if you ask me 😁! But it’s also really fun because it has lots of fun quests and more like different characters accessories! And I’m the game it has a list of names to put your horses name and your own together! The options for names are fantastic! Now for a few things not bad but could use a little fixer- you do get kicked out sometimes and also I think it should be made a little easier to type in the name of your friend so you can like join them or something or just make it easier to join your friends- because me and my sister struggled all day trying to get on the same server and sadly never did but it’s ok just asking for a little twist on that- over all LOVE THIS GAME!! ❤️Show lessbsis sjsb

Hello star stable developers! All I want to say is a few things. First thing, this game is AMAZING✨! Next I have an idea, so it would be sooooo great to be able to get more ways to earn star coins! For example in the star coins tab on the website there would be 2 options. There would be:compete option, and quest option, for the complete option you could compete for 10 star coins, 50 star coins, and 150 star coins! Each race there would be more players + unique rewards! For the quest option there would be exclusive quest! But only on the website you can find then and you have to be level 30 or more. Once you complete one or two of the options (witch you can do them multiple times of course) go to star stable and your mail box will have your star coins! Now that was all I have for today! Now I know all of this sounds O-P but me and I bet a bunch of other players want it! (This would also work for the computer version!) but anyways thank you for putting your time in to read this review thank you for this amazing game! And I hope one day I can make a game! Best game I’ve ever played
So a while ago, my gramma (who plays star stable quite a bit) made me an account with a lifetime membership for me to use later. I was upset that I wouldn’t be able to use it since I didn’t have access to a home computer. That changed when this was created. Now I’m playing this game frequently, having lots of fun and enjoying the beautiful graphics and animations in the game. Great job, Star Stable! You guys are amazing people for doing this, and I can’t wait to see what updates lie in the future!
However, I did encounter an issue. On my mobile screen, the buy horse menu is too large to fit on the screen, so the buy button is in a place where I cannot click it. This has been a big setback for me, but thankfully my gramma has been able to help by letting me use her computer. But please fix this, it’s annoying and it would be amazing if it was fixed!

Amazing 🤩 But…
Honestly I have been playing this game for years, and I am so excited it finally came for mobile. It has very few bugs for me but I did have a little trouble with the first Dark Core ship quest. To anyone out there who loves racing, horses, competitive games, social fun, caring for animals, and more, for sure get this game. It is annoying you have to pay to get past level 5, but it is so worth it. To the developers, you need to know the ship problem above, but more than anything you should know an amazing feature would be either being able to email gifts like what you get after a championship, or just giving the gift by clicking on the avatar, thx! Also, there should be some kind of dressage competition or daily race like in the riding arena with show jumping but just dressage. A bit buggy
I absolutely love playing on mobile! It helps me be more active when I travel. I’ve just run into several issues. For one, it’s often hard to change horses, as when I dismount, the controls go from the joystick to the horse control options and I can’t move. I can press return to entrance to remount, but the issue often is skew several tries to fix. It’s quite annoying. Another bug is that I can often run at a gallop in my stables. I also wish that you could check the championship schedule from the drop down bar with all the settings and such, but instead I need to go to a race board and check there, it’s a minor inconvenience, but annoying. You also can’t see the messages that say “Firgrove Championship starts in 15 minutes” so it’s hard to keep track of time. It would also be cool if you could adjust the arrow size bigger or smaller, I often miss the buttons.
Those issues aside, the game runs flawlessly on my phone! Although it does heat up, but that’s expected. It’s such a joy to play on my phone or tablet, although it’s easier to play on computer in my opinion.Show lessDustyNorthhawk
Just a few issues
I downloaded the game when it first came out to the US and it was really good but there were only a few issues involving walking with your character glitching issues and weird login problems. Starting with the character issue it’s not a huge deal but it is a little aggravating when it happens. The issue is, is when you get off your horse and try to walk with your character it changes the joystick to what you would use when you’re riding your horse and can’t move your character when this happens. The next issue being glitching, the glitching issue isn’t a huge problem just a few minor things like when you try to get a horse out of the paddock it doesn’t work and won’t let me get it I don’t know if this is considered glitching but thats what I would call it. And the final issue I have ti address is sometime in the waiting room it says I’m not logged in but most of the time it’ll fix itself well today it told me that I wasn’t logged in and that my account didn’t exist, I thought it was really weird and probably just a accident but I thought I would say something. Overall this game is really great and I’m really glad you all decided to put it on mobile it’s s great way for people without a desktop to be able to play, and just is very convenient I love it but thought I would share the issues I’ve been having with you. This game is super fun and I am very happy they have been adding more quests! Unfortunately, there are some mobile only bugs I have been noticing. Sometimes, when you get off of your horse, you do not have the joystick, you only have the horse controls. Normally, this would be ok, but you can not turn, so you can only move back and forth. This is potentially game breaking. If you are doing a quest, you would have to close the app and open it again, and risk losing some of your progress.
I am also having network issues with racing, but this may be because of the increased user count that comes with accessibility
Not only that, when I go into my stables, I can see other players, which I’m not sure if that is deliberate or not. On laptop, there are no other players in your stable.
All in all, the game is super fun! If you plan to play past level three, you have to buy a star rider membership. This will get you some coins and an allowance to spend. I’d recommend buying lifetime if you plan to play often, as it is cheaper in the long run :)Show lessA horsey vagabond
