Medical Administration/receptionist I absolutely love this app it’s easy to use, it’s easy to find a coach or therapist in a short amount of time I’m seeing big improvements in my life.

Completely disappointed

Why was i given a provider who couldn’t even help me??? I need my medicine refilled i reached out a while ago. I reached out on September 4 and it said they would reach out in 24 hours. I did not get a response for 3 days. Then I didn’t hear anything until almost a week later where they said they couldn’t help me because they matched me with a provider who was not in my state to even start with!!!!!!!

Buggy app

The app is buggy. I’m unable to return to prior screen when looking at available times. The arrow is non responsive. Also some sessions are randomly canceled and I did not cancel them.

App causes instead of fixes mental health issues

It’s hard to find another popular app in 2024 with such poor interface and functionality. Links get misplaced and the navigation is not user friendly. The worst part is, when you experience issues, it takes a long time to get ahold of customer support. When they do get back to you, they respond with copied and pasted factory-manual style robotic language that does not get to the point, and a few times the customer service rep created new issues within my account instead of fixing.

It brands itself as some sort of mental health savior but this company gives you more anxiety and worry than it claims to be able to fix.

Continuous Prompts to Redownload

I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app three times now and all it does is take me to a screen saying to “download the most recent version”. I have already done this multiple times and having this issue continue is annoying.

Fix this issue and get your app to work correctly.

Frustrating and tedious prompts everytime opening app

I used this app through my employers subscription to access counselling services.
The apps content is fine, but the app itself is very frustrating to use - unfortunately I have no alternative otherwise this would be enough reason for me to abandon this service for another.
Everytime I get a notification that my proviser has sent me a message, when I click to view it and respond, I am forced through an annoying wellbeing check and asking reasons ‘why I came to modern health’.
There are a number of questions, it is not by any means quick to complete this, and ridiculous to have to do multiple times in a day just to be able to access the basic chat feature.
Please provide an option to skip this, or if you are going to ask users to painstakingly provide data to your app, actually use it and check if it is already persisted before forcing them back through this flow.

Can’t exit a survey when selected by accident

I was setting up the app and selected a symptom by accident. Now the app won’t let me do anything other than continue to fill out the survey. Deleting the app as it seems worse for my mental health.

Can’t use app - Wrong language settings

When I download the app it is in Japanese for some reason and I cannot figure out how to set the language correctly. I have a Japanese keyboard enabled as I am learning the language but it is not my native or default language and I cannot figure out why the app is defaulting to it just because I have the keyboard enabled. The support page only has an article for changing the language once you have access to settings, but I can’t even sign up because it is not in a language I can read.

Platform seems promising until you meet with a coach or a therapist….

I’ve had a pretty terrible experiences with coaching and therapy sessions through Modern health so far. Coaching session ended right on the dot without goodbye or closure, while I was mid sentence. Coach also made me feel judged and I felt worse after. Therapist on the other hand first rescheduled and then never showed up for our scheduled session. I feel like that shouldn’t be happening especially when someone’s situations could be highly sensitive and help might be very needed.

I was initially excited about this free benefit through work, but now it makes me feel like it’s free for a reason. Hate to admit it. I’m pretty disappointed and feel hopeless about finding the right therapist and a coach in order to utilize provided benefit through Modern Health.

Really love working with my coach!

Been using this app that my company provides as a benefit. My coach is pretty amazing. Also been using the pause / meditations and it’s been really good. Had a lot of stress with layoffs around recently and it’s been good for centering.
