Just the App
I purchased just the book and then downloaded the app. It’s basically not functional. I have everything else off on my phone and it still takes 30+ seconds to respond to anything, if it ever does. To use the search bar to look for phrases, you have to literally select another tab (like books) and then go back to the phrases tab for it to actually initiate a search. I’m not sure what the point of the app is because I can’t actually see what it is designed to do in action. I am really hoping for some fixes because this is so disappointing.

Program is amazing the app leaves a lot to be desired
I love this program and the content on the app is fantastic, but my app rarely works. If I try to click on a word in my practiced or practicing list it often doesn’t play the right word and no matter what I do it won’t play the word I’ve selected. The search feature also is not comprehensive.
I would love to have an app that actually works most of the time.

So incredibly slow
This app hasn’t been updated in a year. It is so incredibly slow it’s annoying. When trying to just do a few min of language a day, it’s almost impossible to use because it won’t load the phrases. I’m talking it takes several minutes to load the phrases so you can practice listening. This app could absolutely be amazing but it needs help. I feel like the app is a necessity with the monthly boxes so you can listen and learn proper pronunciation, but with the app taking so long to load it really makes it a drag.

Best Language Learning Program
We love this immersion program! It’s better than any other program we have tried!! It make learning Korean fun and we are actually learning to speak to each other from day 1!
Great program, BUGGY app
*I reached out to them over four weeks ago with a detailed breakdown of all of this feedback with screenshots and device specs and I’m hopeful that there will be an update to this app soon. This program deserves a more refined companion app that this current version.*
This review is strictly for the app, which has been frustrating. There are lots of little annoying things that add up to it just being a resource I don’t want to use.
1. Dead hyperlinks that just don’t go anywhere OR outdated info like referencing the Facebook group that doesn’t exist anymore.
2. A lot of the pdf “Extras” are formatted as pdf shortcuts, which just won’t open on the app. Spinning circle of death. Unusable.
3. I’m not able to scroll properly and get “trapped” on SO many sections. I seriously cannot get through 3/4 of the articles because it won’t let me scroll down! Maddening!!!! This is the main reason I rage quit out of this app.
4. Throughout The Total Success Guide, it seems like there’s accidentally a lot of blank space at the bottom of the pages (at least the ones where I can actually scroll all the way through). This is really just a poor design issue that makes the app feel less polished.
5. You have to go in and hit complete on every single component of the box, like all of the sub challenges and even the extras tab, to be able to mark off the box or a challenge as complete. Really annoying.
Again, the program is great and the app does get many things right. I’m reviewing this as a busy mom of three who love apps that work as intended and actually bring additional value to the programs that they claim to supplement.

Absolutely love this program, and I have recommended it several friends and family. The app is fantastic, and it is so helpful being able to listen to the native speaker audio. However, it would be amazing to be able to search for a word or phrase. Sometimes I know exactly what I need to say in a given situation, but I have no idea where in the app to look for it. If this could be made a function, that would greatly increase the efficacy.

So I think the app is great but it would be even better if there was an option to search the book phrases without having to search through the entire app! I get so frustrated doing that I don’t even want to use it anymore. And it’s such a useful app! It would be nice to search for a word or phrase and see what matches so I can use the appropriate one. Please add that feature.
