Great game so far
Been playing for ages and it’s a great game but it needs an upgrade after playing for awhile, like an open ended scenario and maybe some new maps and some new options just to keep it going and I’m happy to pay for these as an extra add on pack to keep it fresh. Otherwise great game.Sitac
A whistle from the past…
It was great to come across this very old title, ported over for the iPad. It’s a great little railroad Sim, a bit simplistic, with cute graphics and charming storylines. Funny, the PC version was always fraught with glitches and problems with pathfinding and the occasional crash. It seems like none of this was addressed when porting to iOS. Pity that, otherwise I’d be more than happy to give it five stars. I’d love it if user created and shared maps could be added as well. I won’t hold my breath on that one.Show lessDaBoo22

This really is an excellent game when played on anything but an iPhone. When played on iPhone continuously crashes. Rest assure if things are running smoothly, which most times it isn’t, you are going to crash. Don’t waste your time sending messages to writers they won’t answer. I still do just for entertaining purposes just to see how many times I can talk to the wall.Show lessMad n Ajo

I am enjoying this game, but it would be cool if we could play it without objectives like RCT1. Also, maps could do with being bigger. Also, maybe put towns and resources in the large amounts of unused space on the current maps.Terry Rist
Great Game, but Buggy
I have thoroughly enjoyed playing this game on my brand new m4 iPad Pro, BUT, I've experienced two game crashes and a number of goofy bugs. Sometimes, all my tracks will just disappear, and I need to close the game and resume to get all the details back. iPad gets very warm while playing. I know its a resource intensive game, but its hard to believe there's not enough resources for this game. I hope they can address the small issues, because they would make a great game even better. Got the game based on nostalgia for the Railroad Tycoon franchise and the positive reviews on the App Store. I didn’t get very far with the game before it started crashing. I started a campaign, linked a couple cities, and the problems started. Two game crashes to the home screen in just the past five minutes. I’m primarily a PC gamer, and in that case probably would spend time troubleshooting. Not happening with a mobile app on an iPad Pro. I want a refund.Show lessShartz

Someone wrote an inaccurate review. They mistakenly wrote that this game has minimal complexity. They must have been reviewing an earlier edition or a different game because this has all the complexity that the original Railroad Tycoon, which I owned in 1990. It’s a great game that requires building stations, laying tracks, finding resources, and connecting resources to different stations to earn greater revenue. You can play against 0 to 3 other AI players. It has multiple levels of complexity and 15 different scenarios. Now, whether the AI players are geniuses or not, I’m not sure, but that’s not been an issue. It’s still a fantastic game—very complex.
