Good when it doesn’t crash
I was looking forward to playing this on iPad. When it works it’s great, but crashes too often. Screen goes blank and iPad has to be rebooted, whist plugged in. Very disappointing for a game at this price.Leon>R

Not as good as it could be......
Played the old game and this is pretty but without challenges and senirios (which I remember from the old version) everything is a bit samey. The maps get into an absolute mess as the trains get stuck and the AI build over you....

Great fun and great port of a classic
I loved this on PC when it was new and was pleasantly surprised to see how well it plays on iPad. Now I hope for expansion scenariosfcoolman
Battery killer
Phone hot to touch after playing which is not good at all.
It’s a paid game at £11.99 which was a complete waste of money
The game is nothing like the original and the controls are very hard to understand.

Buy and play, the way games used to be, the way game should be!
In 1991 while attending college (yeah I’m that old) I still remember shopping in Comp USA for a new game and said “this looks interesting”, it was Civilization for DOS, the first one, and I got hooked and my friends too! It was $40, equivalent to $90 in 2023, and I went on to buy Colonization but it was just ok. That was all a lot of money back then and I never chanced Railroad Tycoon…never played it on the PC, but I’m hooked on this iPad game with a 12” screen! Amazing graphics and port of the game! Well worth the $14 or whatever it was to play endlessly!
It does take some learning, I started getting frustrated at first because it was not completely intuitive to me and no good tutorial, but if you to go help there is a guide that will take you to a series of short YouTube videos. That was the ticket to Railroad Tycoon! (No pun intended)
