  • Great extra income but…

The app is simple and easy to use, straight forward instructions and clearly tells you how much you will earn. The support team are prompt and helpful, how ever there are a few bug fixes needed.
The in app navigation is often wrong. Taking me the wrong way or to the wrong address & expecting me to walk across busy streets or alley ways instead of just guiding me to the correct address.
Another issue is going to pick up orders that have been picked up by other delivery companies, this has happened more than once or twice. Stores advise they have been getting multiple drivers trying to collect and whilst chat support is helpful, it is annoying.

  • 3 Month ongoing App error that I can’t get any help with fixing

I have dashed for a year now and the app is now not letting me for 3+ months I have been trying to get help solving it and I’m not getting the help I need they keep sending and giving me the troubleshooting help which if it worked I would not have had to keep asking for help again and they say they call me no one does. They put a temporary fix that works for like 24hours and then broken again - I just want the app fixed and some actual IT/App support the call centre troubleshooting isn’t fixing the problem and this is just becoming a joke now! The app usually pretty good otherwise and the caller centre support is helpful to a point but this is obviously an issue that requires further action and I would I like to speak to someone else for help. I even had Apple look in to my phone and it’s coding or software and everything to see if it was the phone it self and it’s all fine nothing wrong with the phone.

  • Dedication will get you far!

DoorDash is 100% dedicated to delivering food. It is their entire business model and if you are a food courier, know that you are working with a company that cares about you, the driver. I have worked for both DoorDash and UberEATS. Uber does not care about you. DoorDash is invested in supporting you as a driver and in my experience as a customer, DoorDash has always supported me there too, when anything went wrong. Overall, why choose to work for a company that tries to do *everything* and ultimately give them that power to control you and everyone on the planet. DoorDash does one thing. Food delivery - and they do it perfectly! I easily make $700-$1,000 a week when I dedicate time to it like it is my job I am employed to do, even though I’m just a contractor. The customers are grateful for your work, the biggest tips I have ever received was on DoorDash and I have done 2,000 deliveries on both platforms. Thank you for coming to Australia!

  • Great app to make extra money on

I have been using Doordash now for a little over a year to make extra money on the side. It’s not a bad gig to do. I enjoy it on the days. I make good money. There are some days I just feels like there are way too many Dashers in the area and we don’t make any money at all and you can all day long Only updates I would like to see is when you give me a pick up time to pick up from a restaurant in a town that has stoplights give me longer than two minutes to get there some of the stoplights in my town 2 to 3 minutes just to get through and that’s depending on traffic or I might need to go turn around and go back cause I got a order as soon I past the restaurant Also would like to see the Apple car play work in my region which is Greensburg Indiana. The second update I would like to see is that Doordash not take their drivers so far outside of the zone unless it’s for a set amount every time it should be a automatic agreed amount between customers and Doordash to take your Dashers more than 10 miles outside of town during that time we lose that on money we lose out on orders and sometimes people just take the order because they have to. They’re broke. They need the money for four dollars for 15 miles or for eight dollars for 15 miles is honestly just not worth it agreed amount between DoorDash and customer to go over 10 miles out of town should automatically be a dollar a mile. And that’s whether they give a tip or not.

  • Scam alert

I recently completed 50 hours of driving and earned $1,000, but the reality isn’t what it seems. After driving nearly 1,000 km, I spent $150 on fuel, $50 on extra insurance, $60 on maintenance, and another $100 for vehicle wear and tear. When all was said and done, I was left with just $640—bringing my hourly rate down to a disappointing $12.80.

If you’re thinking about gig driving, beware: the costs quickly add up, and the so-called “good money” isn’t what it’s cracked up to be. You might find yourself working hard for a lot less than you expected.

  • Worst Dasher Support

I am trying to get support from dasher support team from last 5 years in account creating issues they, they never figured out it. It’s the same problem constantly going on ‘ having trouble with processing your application’. No one is willing to fix the issue.
    So disappointed 👎🏿
  • Need attention on gps

The app always takes me to opposite directions from restaurants or pickup stores and I have to find on google maps for my pickup location. Please update your app. Thanks
  • Bad algorithm

You have to wait like an hour to get an order that is 3 dollars for 8km and it will have 50 beer cans and 50 watter bottles. Thanks for changing our lives doordash 🔥
  • How can you have too many drivers?

It’s literally work when you want right? So why is it saying too many people in my area doing it. I just want something to pick up a couple bucks here and there, not full time.
  • PLEASE BE AWARE

DoorDash has changed the pay on batched orders WITHOUT telling us drivers!!! It started sometime on July 20th. Since then they are batching orders and not paying the $2 per restaurant or $4 per shopping base pay on pay per off. PLEASE GO BACK AND LOOK AT ALL THE BATCHED ORDERS YOU HAVE COMPLETED since July 20th and I guarantee you’ve been shorted. After I completed a batched double order for 2 restaurants and 2 separate delivery addresses I was paid $4.06. That is including a $2 tip. So, they paid me $2.06 BASE PAY for the 2 separate pickups and deliveries. If we have a contract violation we could get fired, but THEY ARE IN CLEAR VIOLATION of the the contract at this point specifically the base pay agreement. Today was the 6th batch delivery I’ve had since the 20th that had been shorted. I checked my daily earnings reports and prior to July 20th all batched order were paid out correctly. It started July 20th sometime in the afternoon and they have been doing it to EVERYONE!!! I know it’s not just me!!! Please fellow Dashers, friends, coworkers - Call and complain!!! WE MUST STAND UP FOR OURSELVES!!! They already pay the bare minimum and now this? WITHOUT notifying us about the changes!?? THEY ARE STEALING OUR BASE PAY FROM UNDER OUR NOSES and they don’t care if we notice. Has anyone ever gotten paid $1.06 for a delivery? It’s violating the terms of their part of the agreement!!! PERIOD
