Extremely low batch pay
And why has the batch pay decreased so horribly? this shouldn’t be something that shoppers have to worry about when we already have to worry about how the customer may tip us. At this rate, you’re basically just working to cover the gas used to make deliveries so basically you’re just breaking even there’s no real profit at this point and please stop lowering the pay once we mark something out of stock or have to refund a customer. It is not our fault, especially if they do not want a replacement or don’t even respond to let us know. That is on the store not on us. Why should we suffer?
Instacart used to be a great way to make extra money, but it’s really not anymore when you consider the wear and tear on your car to not even see decent wages from all your hard work is really disheartening and a big letdown
Can’t see my ratings
I’m also having issues with orders appearing for a fraction of a second then disappearing before I can react. Sitting at stores and waiting when the app says 15-30 minutes or even 5-15 minutes and no orders come up. I move to a different store only to get an order at a store that’s not even on the map.
Also why does the pay reduce when a customer requests a refund on an item that isn’t available and the customer didn’t like any replacement options? Sometimes I spent entirely to much time waiting on customers to respond to messages and searching for items that aren’t there just to have my pay reduced.
Even with these issues I’m still giving Instacart a five star review because for me there are more pros than cons. At least most days. Also I have never had any issues with shopper support. They have always been nice and helpful.
