good, until....
i downloaded it because i had a long page of homework to read, and physically couldn’t read all of it, so i got this and it was very accurate, unfortunately if you actually want to use it, you have to pay. very disappointed

2. Tap anywhere on the screen to start the OCR. Using the button takes a steady finger with a good aim when I should be looking at and framing what to capture.
3. Capture in Landscape.
4. Get Shortcuts to scan as accurately as the app itself.

Fantastic app for anyone working with text
This app is just fantastic. I am a packaging designer and am often sent text in various formats - often uneditable, so now I can simply scan a proof/image on screen and the app renders it all editable. Text can then be translated into a number of foreign languages. The only reason I am giving it five stars is because I can’t give it any more! Genius.

When you download, you can do the following for free: scan the image.
You cannot copy, edit, or do anything else with what you have scanned. There is a one time fee of $3.99, which is not expensive, but this should not be considered a free app due to the fact that you can do virtually nothing with the free version.

This is a really cool app it helped me a lot in my school work
Don’t bother…
Perhaps it’s me. I researched Apps to convert an instruction manual in Greek to English. I took a chance at £3.49. It was a poor choice. The app cannot translate even a very short paragraph from Greek, let alone a page. It does not recognise the Greek letters. I tried a picture of a bag of cement with a few Greek words in big writing. It could not translate this either telling me ‘attempt failed, please try later… ‘ yeah right…
