Only good if you use Ancestry

I made the mistake of buying this before realising that it’s only for Ancestry. No good for me. Have asked for a refund.

Not worth the money.

While it more or less does what it should, some of the displayed information is untidy and some of it completely unreadable. I could not understand all of the information provided and could not find anything anywhere to explain it, or anything else for that matter.

Brilliant app

Brilliant app as it generates clusters for ancestry trees, finds potential mrca and can build exploration trees. I’ve worked out so many of my DNA connections using this app!

Waste of money

Do not waste your money on this tool. It does nothing for you that a copy and past from ancestry will give you. You can’t even download the strings of matches from this tool into a file that you can use in a spreadsheet. All the other tools did not work with my data.

GARBAGE DON’T iNSTALL

Useless

Paid for a month and tried it first day of download. Was able to build a couple trees. But the program did not add as many people to the tree as the tree I was building from. Tried again the next day and have only gotten errors since. Waste of money. Only got one star because you have to click a star. No support for this app.

On Feb 21st we uploaded a new version 2.8.2 of DNA2Tree which fixed the issue. Paid for useless month

Bought a month subscription to do surname searches. Didn’t work the whole time. Tried three contact avenues to see if I could get a free month to make up for it, with no response. Helpful when it works.

I really love this app but,..

I wish that there was a feature where once we gather all of our common ancestors and our DNA matches into a Gedcom file

Other than that it’s a great app

In-App purchase REQUIRED $$$

The information about the app neglects to say that purchase of a subscription is required, starting at $19.99 a month, discounted slightly for multiple months purchased together. I think this should be noted up front. It looks like a free app. It is not a free app.
