  • Great game though their account management needs work

I recently downloaded the game and made it to level 36, but realized I wasted a lot of early game resources. I decided that I wanted to start over and be smarter early game. This has been a nightmare. I was able to start a new knight and linked it my Google account as opposed to my Apple, and played the new knight for a while. I decided I wanted to switch back to the old account and see if I could play both. I signed out of the new knight and tried to login to my older Apple account and, after some misclicks, I signed into the Apple account. However, the game keeps saying I am logged in on another machine and won’t let me get into the game, nor will it let me switch accounts it just keeps trying to login on the Apple account and failing telling me to close the game on the other device (I have only ever played on my phone so there isn’t another device). I am effectively locked out of the game. Not sure what happened, but the game is not built to have multiple accounts. Other than getting locked out I loved the game.

  • Started off great

Awesome game when you start playing, then the uphill battle starts. You will get a bunch of stuff that you can add things to enhance your character until you don’t have the money to pay for the ability to remove add ons instead of just losing them. I could of used them for my other heroes but nope. The riddles don’t make sense. You can’t find any caged characters unless you go to each section and go through each of them just to find them. Pointless!! I have majority of upper level equipment and without getting 40 of the original ones so I can merge them together is another thing you can’t find easily. You’re constantly going against upper echelon of opponents while you are only allowed to carry a certain level of weapons and always felt overpowered and outmatched. You can’t attack anyone you want, so you get mowed down trying to get rid of the 3 tanks they have in the way who are maxed out. With all the crappy build a base games, idle games, or monotonous resource collecting drone games and the few really good games are all $$$ just to be competitive. Tighten up people dam!! Bigfoot 🦶🏼

  • Pay to play, takes away from fun

Look… not gonna lie here. Games fun. Truly. And, I’ve spent money to keep playing, probably ~$40 into it. I’m at this absolutely frustrating point around level 25 where I can’t beat the main missions, don’t have enough equipment to transmute, grinding every day for upgrade materials (let’s be real, it’s going slow), I keep running out of energy and it keeps telling me to spend gems I don’t have which cost money…. Like dude, when I play games I don’t just want to turn it on for 5 minutes, run out of play time then bug off to my other things. If this game felt about twice as playable in regards to effort that translates to progress, I’d arguably have no problem spending more money. But my dudes/dudettes, make the game so I can spend 30 minutes to an hour on it without having to spend money. I get if I want to beef up really quick to get passed this difficult point, I’d happily spend $5 a week or so to do that. But when I feel the $10 I spent made an insignificant dent in progress, takes away the fun.

  • Love this game……BUT some characters needs nerfing!

This game is one of the best games on the app I play it more than my ps5 sometimes (to put in exaggeration)……but some of the characters needs nerfing REALLY BAD! im currently a lvl 53 and so are my myth armors and myth weapon, well my myth weapon is strong against goblin and cult enemies….its no reason why a level 45 nameless slicer should be more powerful and stronger than my lvl 53 armor and weapon it’s literally no way to defeat them without taking so much damage it’s honestly cheating! You would have to be almost a level 60 with gold runes equipped to somewhat easily defeat the lvl 45 nameless enemies and also the guardian characters as well….pls take some time to properly evaluate the power level of some of your characters, it kinda make the game tiresome especially when I’ve spent money and countless time on this game! Not saying make the game easy but a lvl 53 myth goblin weapon should not be doing minimal damage to a lvl 45 nameless enemy and a lvl 45 goblin should not be doing that much damage to a lvl 53 goblin armor!

  • Great Game But…

Ok so i’m probably only a couple of hours into this game like at the most 3 so take what I say with a pinch of salt. It’s a great game it’s fun and engaging, but the constant telling you that you have free things to collect only to go look and see that it is in fact not free and requires you to watch an ad. I do applaud the game for not peppering with constant ads but the trade off is it constantly showing you that you can buy things. Also whenever you launch the game after the loading screen you have to about 5 or 6 different shop pop ups before you can even go into the game. And one final thing the tutorial is was to long and slow paced and it forces you to follow the tutorial with no other tabs that can be clicked as well as the dialog that does not allow you to interact with screen in anyway other than to skip one text box at a time. But like I said, it’s a great game… but

  • Never actually get to play the game

This isn’t a slander or a low blow towards “Knight Hood” i wanna start by saying I absolutely love this game from the art style down to the play style it’s been years since I was this interested in a mobile game so I wanna say thank you! NOW! The issue in my opinion is energy I hate the energy system it’s as if the game doesn’t want you to even play it because of how much energy is needed to do “Roaming monsters” and then there is energy need for arena leagues (tickets) and you can only acquire those through the ticket booth which believe it or not you have to wait hours to receive there is also a energy like system with cave monster as well you can only do cave raids if you have torches and guess what you only get torches every once and awhile you see what I mean? The energy restoration is very very and I mean VERY slow takes hours to get energy back just for it to be blown in seconds which makes me feel as if the game is just nothing more than a marketing scheme yk? When you open it up you get hit with three adds to buy gems or gold from the game and guess what the only way you can buy lives (energy) is with gems the only way to get gems is to do daily quests or get them from a chest and if you have no lives you can’t do daily quest to get gems my point is that I spend more time waiting to play the game then actually playing it

  • Revised, great game but…

Now, I do love this mobile game, I really do, I have spent more time on this game than any other mobile game; and I have to say/type my honest opinion. This game is really deserving 5 stars but it has started to become more of a chore than a game to play; what do I mean by that, well, I have gotten the mythic armor and weapons that the game initially pushes you towards. But outside of the rift, the armor and weapons are really nothing special in terms of completing the main story of the game; I am currently level 49 and I can’t even get past the first section of Karnheim!!! My armor and weapons are rated level 49 and the enemies are level 45…you would think that I should be able to press forward with the story but no…I can’t seem to get past this section!! I mean the devs really push the mythic items but I would have rather have unique armor and weapons; like I stated before, the rift power only matters in the rift; not outside which honestly is stupid beyond all reasoning! I really hope that the devs are reading the ratings and do something about this totally unbalanced system of mythic gear being useless outside the rift; otherwise, I will have to find another game to occupy my time. It will be sad if they do read this review and don’t do anything about it; thanks for your time.

  • Great game

I’ve played for about two weeks, I’m really enjoying it so far. There’s a lot to do, you’re really only limited to how much s every you have, but that limit only gets higher as you level up.
The only thing that’s kind of annoying are the guilds, there’s not a way to search for specific things within a guild. I would want to be able to find a guild that focuses on guild bosses and contribution, but I can’t search for that. It only gives recommended guilds, and some of the recommended guilds are in a language that I can’t speak, so filtering guilds by language would also be useful.
But overall great game, I just want to be able to find a suitable guild for myself lol.

  • Went from amazing to poor

I’ve been playing this game for over 3 years and have seen the inception of many fantastic updates to this game. Please dont get me wrong, this game IS fun. However after such a long period of time, its difficult to recommend this game to new starters. Due to all of these updates, there is virtually no catch up system. You will find yourself grinding away just to reach a glass ceiling, because you will be facing people who have been playing for much longer. But that is not the main point of my review.

The latest update, Guild Wars, in my opinion was the devastating blow. This is a purely pay to win feature of this update. Guild wars is all about proving your might as a team, conquering outposts and land, and defending from other guilds. Actions cost contestion points and defense costs timber. You can only buy these two thing with gems - 250 for a pack. Alternatively, you can buy a season pass for 3.99$. The season pass includes plenty of different progression loot if you dont opt in - which is fine. But, if you buy it - guess what - you accumulate more Timber and Contestion Points. Its just not a system i can support. The idea was fun and long awaited, but the execution is just a money hungry move from a game which was already sufferring from a dwindling player base.

  • Really well done

Have been playing for about 6 months. Progression requires grind, but is a steady and fun pace. I am now 5 levels away from max and there is still so much content and end game stuff to go after. If you are a completionist, you will absolutely love this game.

Art is super fun. Mechanics and gameplay are pleasing. Match-up for pvp makes sense. I choose to spend about $20/month on the game because it has become a major hobby for me. As far as pay to play goes, they have designed it so $5/month can go a LONG way. If you want to spend thousands, you can, but there are some resources that even the richest players can only get through fair play.

It seems like MiDoKi has been smart about the balance between making money as a company, allowing f2p RPG fans to grind for reasonable rewards, and letting the rich feel like they are rewarded without an unfair advantage. Other devs take note.

One example is the brand new guild wars. You only get to fight so many times a day, no matter how much you pay. You have to be smart and work together with your guild to win. Really well done.
