Wonderful way to explore and learn!
I was looking for a geo-tagged guided audio tour of Brooklyn and was thrilled to find this app. Walking directions were clear and the tour seamlessly synced to my location, so that if I wanted to linger in certain areas it would automatically wait for me to catch up before continuing. Tour itself was compelling and made me want to continue exploring! Excited to see more.

Great way to explore the city
Love to do the audio tours with Gesso. Just finished the Williamsburg walk and learned a lot about the area.
Wow! Rock Center tour was awesome
Just spent a few days in New York and unfortunately discovered this app on the last day. I wish I had known about it earlier. The Rock Center tour was incredible.

I’m so glad I found this app. The NYC walking guides are awesome - highly recommend for anyone visiting. I hope gesso makes more walking tour content for the other cities it supports!

I just recently downloaded this app to watch and listen to the new “emerald futures“ installation around Central Park! It was an awesome experience where the sounds and story were placed all around us in the park as we walked, telling a story that moved through the space. Overall really well done!

I didn’t know what to expect when a friend invited me to her son’s composer concert with the New York Phil- it was rainy that day, but the show went on!
It was a lot of fun walking through Central Park and hearing the students pieces— very thoughtfully done, beautiful music and talent by the composers, and calming. It felt like I was in an immersive headspace meditation! Super cool way to explore the city and slow down, too.

Love this!
Used this app for the Emerald Futures tour, it is such a cool concept! Very easy to use, and completely transformed my experience of listening to music. The walk was very reflective and I felt very centered and connected afterwards. Would definitely check out the other tours as well!
