Efficient system for contractors

This system has been great for our electrical contracting company. From day 1 the BuildOps team has been highly communicative and quick to assess any issues we had. They are very responsive and eager to help.
The system itself has helped our business tremendously and will continue to do so.

Not cutting it

This is the worst dispatch software I’ve ever used. There’s no way for techs to look up customers unless a job is assigned to them. Looking back at what was done on a job previously is on separate tickets and takes several pages to load even when it’s all under a single job. It creates multiple tickets, one for each day the job is active. Then it doesn’t combine all the tickets word for word. It’s AI decides what was importance and puts that on the bill the customer gets. Billing a customer is terrible. You can’t adjust labor hours easily, there’s no way to as a coupon or discount. I could go on and on.

Works great!

This app has allowed us to improve our service and company operations. We’re more efficient and provide excellent reports to our customers.

We’re also are able track customer equipment maintenance and cost.

do it

Small boiler service company took a chance with BuildOps. Users have a wide range of tech literacy and they all managed to get the hang of the app. The dispatch board revolutionized our scheduling system. The quote to job
Schedule has also become so streamlined. App is user friendly for technicians to add themselves or track time, work completed.

Rock Solid for Commercial HVAC

It's was difficult to find a service software that works for our commercial needs, but we finally found BuildOps and it's working perfectly. We tried two other software programs before BuildOps and they were tailored to residential service and really struggled with managing jobs that weren't completed in one day. BuildOps handles longer jobs and projects with ease and dispatches aren't getting lost. It's a must have for commercial service companies.

Crashes, bugs, long load times

Been using the app a little over a year now. It seems every time another company joins the app, it gets worse and worse. I’m constantly having to restart, log out and sign in, and uninstall and reinstall just to be able to use it. The flag section constantly glitches out where you can’t use the onscreen buttons to submit. Have to copy and paste what you wrote, close app, and repeat until it final works. When adding inventor items, the list takes 30 seconds to load, even on 1GBPS WiFi. If you tap the inventory bar again while it loads, often it will take you to warehouses and you’ll have to find your truck again and go through that glitchy menu. It eats battery. It’s just overall not a great app.

Outstanding Performance During An Emergency

I was recently operating under severe time constraints to process a number of large invoices, and with books closing the next day, I needed to complete everything within 24 hours. Ten hours before the deadline, a massive invoice failed to Sync, and within minutes of reaching out to BuildOps, they responded. I explained the gravity of my situation, and within an thirty minutes, they solved the synchronization crisis which permitted me to close the month successfully. I can’t recommend BuildOps enough. This one instance is emblematic of their overall treatment with clients. I have had countless other less severe issues that BuildOps successfully handled. I’m happy to have the support and confidence that BuildOps provides.

Not tech friendly

Interesting how my previous review is gone, truth must be painful. As a tech who has been using electronic platforms since 2004 this is by far the least tech friendly. So what don't I like. When running large projects over multiple days you cant see your previous days summary or other techs summary. Tracking time for multiple techs is difficult especially if there are different pay scales involved. Lots of clicking around to find anything. Open work orders dispatch no longer sees. Our last system allowed a tech to open multiple work orders all at once, could go in and out of multiple work orders at the same time. Build ops eats battery so make sure you have a charger and a good outlet on that roof. Unable to search for sites and view service history, this is a big miss as this is a massive tool for the techs in our last system. Build ops continues to send people to our company to try and fix issues. This was not a improvement for the technicians side and a major step back from what we had.

Very pleased with BuildOps

We have been with BuildOps for almost a year now. Every aspect of changing over to them has been seamless. They are a breath of fresh air compared to the services we used before. They are very responsive and attentive to our needs. Customer service is top notch. They are always making improvements and listed to customer feed back as well. I would recommend to anyone!

Build oops

It’s complete garbage. Worst platform I have ever used as a tech. Time sheet not in ticket. Can’t search previous time sheets for the week. No details in timesheet just hours. Multiple day work needs to be redispatched each day. Any summary is no longer visable to the tech the next day. Can’t see what other techs have done on the site. Can’t search sites and history. Plus another thousand other things. Horrible software/app. They are trying but have no clue what is useful on the tech side.
