Needs a better UI
The UI is just scrolling around a 2D screen.
And the key are very tiny and glitchy.
Also why must you sell a port of open source software?

I'm so glad there's a sunth that can load all the DX7 patches!
That being said, this app suffers from the exact OPPOSITE of the original DX7, too many controls on the front panel!
My dude, thank you for making this app, but make tabs/pages for the controls. One giant scrollable main page is just un unuseable...

Where are 5he 20,000 cartridges?
I’m a big fan of DX7 emulators and use Dexed the VST instrument, along with FM8 and DX7 V collection. This port is very poor and glitchy and worst still doesn’t come with the 20,000 cartridges as stated in the app description. The GUI is a little crude and overall this looks amateurish in comparison to the VST version.
Others can make an iOS synth feel like the software equivalent of a DAW instrument, take TAL UNO LX which is the same on the IPad as the VST and is great to play. This isn’t and I should have know better looking at the screenshots of the interface.
I took a punt purely on the library of 20,000 banks of 32 presets, sadly they don’t seem to be there and I let them unpack on the first load.
Needs a lot more work, barring the ugliness this freezes all the time and is very unstable.

Broken code
Broken...does not work. All glitchy and won’t load any of the presets. Abandoned, it seems.
KQ Dixie is FAR better in every way.

Breath control does not work.
When trying to use breath controller patches, the parameters in the SETUP screen do not work at all. It is not possible to get DEXED to respond to breath controller data even when these settings are set right and the patch has been specially designed to respond to breath. This is a serious bug. Please fix.

Looks like lots of stuff
Makes annoying pop on note release in lower register . Not sure the UI is usable, very cluttered, need to play with it. That pop has to be fixed.
Best synth on iOS!
Major glitch in Cubasis 3 causing projects to not load and freeze when reopened.

it Could be good
I am impressed with the sounds I remember all the old keyboards and it was like going back in time can't wait for the next update
I want Dexed to work sooooo much!
I really love the fact that Dexed got ported to mobile, but it just won’t work. It’s so glitched out and buggy that it’s impossible to take seriously. It won’t open most of the time and when it does make sure you don’t turn your device from portrait view to another angle or it will just fail. You can’t play more than one note at a time or keys start sticking, at least for me. The scaling feature is more of a burden then a help. But even though I’ve just trashed on it, I do see it’s been getting constantly updated. That’s good, and the desktop version is pretty solid and I enjoy using it often. I’ll change my star rating as it gets better for sure. I plan on keeping it instead of the normal return because I want this app to succeed and I think they deserve the money to help it get better too!

very buggy
I like the synth because it has nice sounds, but it is really buggy and the user experience is not good at all. I find myself not using it much, because every time I use it I’m getting frustrated of its sluggish, unpolished feeling and the random crashes.
