Won’t send a verify code

Tried to log in maybe twenty times tonight, but after the first 4 times (and 20 minutes) finally got two emails. The codes in both didn’t work (expired). Gave it a test for 3-4 hrs and tried again a few more times, no email.

Tried both The desktop app and the MacOS app, and the iOS app. The last few times I used iOS app. Only the iOS app shows a countdown timer of 2 minutes, which expired, without an email…

The whole thing seems… odd. Not a standard format (pdf), doesn’t load in normal readers…. Idk. I don’t like it. The book was inexpensive and did not advertise what format, just “eBook” so kind of a bait and switch for a weird broken experience, when my expectation was a more standard format….

Awful, avoid it

Had to download the app to listen to the 11 audiobooks I purchased at the Princeton University Press annual sale. Only one book plays, and even that with glitches. The app freezes constantly (and it’s not my phone issue, I have 400GB free). It would have been a better deal if I paid full price for the books on Apple Books - at least I would have been able to listen to them. I’m surprised respectable publishers associate with such a junk of an app!

Waste of time

Brought the ebook online and add into Glassboxx app keep said error and contact to Glassboxx totally waste of time.

Worst APP ever.?

I have purchase two books via Glassboxx. Never again This APP is awful. I had loads of trouble with downloading the first book, but the second takes the cake. Got email saying it was available. All good. Won’t download in app. Log out and try to login. Needs a new code via email, doesn’t send it. Try again, finally get a code, timed out. Try again, get an email with new code, APP tells me I’ve had too many trys!

Verification debacle

I purchased audiobooks through the PUP website and was directed to this app. Using the same email I’ve tried to log in and verify my purchase…no verification code sent to my email and no alternative log in options (eg order number?). This was a very expensive mistake…

Annoying

There is no way to make the progress bar disappear which is annoying.

App error

Not really thrilled with this app. Only got it for one specific book that I was having trouble finding, even used.

When I first purchased the book, had the app downloaded and verified, the books still wasn’t showing up. I was able to get it to show up through contacting CS. I am now having trouble accessing the book again (and this isn’t the first time, but I can’t remember if it ever resolved the last time). I have yet to contact CS again, and while they will hopefully be able to fix the problem I don’t want to be constant emailing or calling CS.

Not responsive

I bought a ebook from Fox Publishing and was directed to this app, signed up for the app and had to respond within 2 minutes with a “verification code “. Did not receive the code after 3 attempts. Now my purchase is in limbo. Looking at the app reviews I am not the only one with this complaint.

Hello Mr Knight, I believe this was resolved and you have received the code. Usually the verification code not arriving is due to an over enthusiastic spam filter but if you are still having an issue then please let our customer support team know and they will be happy to help.

Not Working

I downloaded 5 books then later on i cant open it. Waited for a couple of days and same result still not working. I dont what to do anymore wasted good chunk of money.

Purchased books not even displaying to read

I purchased two instructional ebooks. They were paid in full and credit card charged. Downloaded the app and successfully installed app, and was “verified.”

No books displayed or available for download to read. Waited for considerable time and still nothing. Sent email and no reply. Reviewed FAQ’s no help.

When a credit card is charged the material should be available. App says wait ten minutes. Nothing on app to read hours after credit card charged. Still not books as of this writing.

Unfortunately there was an issue with the order sent to the system and once we resolved this all was immediately fixed.
