The app is misleading. To rent the scooter you have to leave a €10 Euro deposit. The term,”deposit”, suggests that if you return the scooter back to the original location this is refundable, however, this is not the case, it’s just a hidden charge. My wife and I hired two scooters from the Es Princep in Palma. We enquired with the company to be told that this, so called, deposit stays on your account, so you can use the service again in the future. This is only good if you’re intending on going back to Palma, or you live there. If you don’t go back or you don’t intend using the service again you can say goodbye to your money. These scooters should not be parked outside a hotel that full of tourists and one-off customers. The terms and conditions on the app does not mention this hidden charge anywhere, I believe it’s an intentional con! Such a shame that what’s supposed to be a bit of fun leaves you feeling tricked.

we regret that your overall feeling was not as pleasant as we aim to. We would like to stress we dedicated a lot of time trying to sort this case with your wife and we let her go believing we did it.
We would like to stress on the fact that our Terms and Conditions clearly mentions the conditions of the deposit on point 5 (must be used as a credit for additional rides) and that, in any case, money were refunded immediately after the claim was sorted out.
We are convinced you will change your mind and have a positive feeling and memory when you return to Mallorca and give us a second chance.
