  • Lot’s of Fun, but still some lingering issues

Love the game but this latest update is very broken. I have played at least 8 games where I haven’t unlocked any pieces and I make no progress on the points for the season. I am stuck at 24 points and despite multiple wins and top brawler, I am getting no credit. (Reinstalling fixed this)

Updated: I have added a star and edited my review. Had reinstalled the game (and fortunately didn’t lose any progress) and fixed the bug if not retaining points. Transitions between “seasons” are not smooth. The devs tweaked the points system, which was very good, but I think could still use some improvement. Remaining issues are some comm drops and too often teams are unbalanced because players drop out after the map vote. Maybe remove “Cancel” button after the vote is done??

So glad to hear that you're retaining your points again! We appreciate your feedback and understand that it's no fun when players drop out of a Brawl. We'll take your suggestion into consideration, we're always trying to improve Brawls with every update!
  • Better and Better With Each Update

I’ve been playing ‘Brawls’ since day one and to see it steadily grow, brick by brick, has been supremely satisfying.

I’m very happy that this last update has fixed the ‘locked champions’ bug and, more importantly, THE NAME GENERATOR IS SO MUCH BETTER! As someone that likes to get creative with naming minifigures, thank you for improving this feature.

Lastly, the addition of licensed properties to ‘Brawls’ is fantastic and I can’t wait to see what this means for future updates. (Basil the Bat Lord from the ‘Fright Nights’ theme would be amazing). I do appreciate that the creative team has been mining the blind bag series for interesting minifigures and making them their own. Having the possibility to physically recreate your in-game avatar is really cool.

tl,dr: Thank you to the developers for creating and continuing to maintain a really fun game.

  • No options for accessibility?

As someone who is colorblind, this game is pretty much impossible to play. I thought I was crazy thinking “there must be some indicator of who’s on your team?!”. After replaying the tutorial to see if I missed something, I finally realized the health bars are just a tiiiiiiiiiiiiny bit darker for the enemy. This is nearly impossible for a color blind person to differentiate. So I jumped right into the settings expecting a “color blind mode” like almost every other game has, but found nothing. Honestly a shame, and quite disappointed in the devs for not taking half a sprint to make this game just a tiny bit more accessible. Like seriously, it would probably be a 3 point card, dig it out of your backlog and prioritize it!

  • Excellent game

I used my free trial of Apple Arcade exclusively to play this game. I have been a huge fan of lego games for years, and this is an excellent one. The combat is really good, easy to learn, and building your own characters is fun and rewarding. My only complaint is a lack of depth, there really isn’t anything outside of the one multiplayer game mode. Don’t get me wrong, the game mode available is great, I’m a big fan of the king of the hill style combat, but another game mode, like a death match or something, would be great. I no longer have Apple Arcade, so I cannot play this game anymore, but if Apple Arcade were to pick up maybe one or two more really compelling games (I’m thinking like Genshin Impact) I would resubscribe. Still, this is one of, if not the best, Apple Arcade games.

  • Awesome game, couple problems

I really love this game! It’s been the only thing I’ve played since I got it. I really like how mini figures skin changes based on the color of the head, and the party option.

One problem I seem to have is ever since the update, I don’t get a new piece after every brawl. I asked my friend and he said he still gets new pieces. Another is when I play with the controller, the jump button seems to be delayed. I tried it with several different controllers and they were all the same.

One suggestion I have is for the party system, if you can send party invites to Game Center friends who are online at the same time you are. Also to put in a mic systems you can talk to them while you play. Or to be able to do any of your emotes whenever you want, whether it’s in a game or in the party hub. These are just a few suggestion.

    Thank you.

  • Amazing

This game is simply amazing, been looking for a competitive game that doesn’t solely rely on micro transactions to get cosmetics. However, one suggestion for the try hard players out there!

Could you add a small option to check your wins/losses? I don’t want there to be any change to anything else, really - but a small incentive for hardcore players would be a small number counter at the main menu showing us our win/loss history. This could make it into the Esport if there was a way to track this.

  • Awesome game, one big suggestion

Hi! I did not used to play this game that much, but now I LOVE IT! I have loved LEGO products, wether it be a game or toy, all my life! You wanna know what grabbed my attention to this game recently? NINJAGO PRIME EMIRE 🤩🤩🤩🤩! I am a huge fan of LEGO Ninjago and same with my bestie (she literally wants Apple Arcade just to play this game!)! Please keep up with updates for ninjago!

Anyways, I also like how you can customize your avatar and fight in different maps. But... could you make a single player? By that I mean that it is just you with a parkour challenge or like I was thinking NPC characters to fight, having to do with each map, like red visors for prime empire and captains crew for ship. I would be super happy if you read this and considered it!! I know that you probably have ideas how to make my suggestion better, but it’s a start, hopefully. Thank your for reading!! 😄😄😄😄😁😁😁

  • Great game, huge problem

I’ve been a fan of Lego for as long as I can remember. When I saw this game was coming out I was so excited. It’s a really great game with some many minifigures to play as. There’s one HUGE problem for me though. The game is so laggy that I can’t even play it. I’ll be seconds away from a match ending weather I’m losing or winning and I’ll get kick and get deprived of my prize. It does it almost every round and I can’t take it anymore. The game is literally unplayable. I really hope this get fixed because I’d love to collect all the parts. I don’t know if this is just a problem on my end or if others are having the same issue. I hope Lego or at least the developers get back to me on this because it truly is a great game!

  • Impossible for Colorblind People

Decent light-weight team brawler. Two MAJOR complaints:
    1) Why, when using a MFi controller, are their two ways to jump: a jump button AND pressing up on the D pad? When I‘m trying to run from side to side, the controller often mis-reads this as an intending jump. It’s very frustrating jumping around like an idiot all the time and missing my mark because of accidental jumping. Seems this could be an easy fix by adding a control scheme option to the settings.
    2) I am red/green colorblind and I literally have NO IDEA who is on my team and who isn’t. So, I spend each game wildly attacking EVERYONE. It is frustrating. Please add a colorblind mode that adjusts the colors or adds some graphical element to enemy health bars so that us colorblind folk can tell them apart.
