We’ve added 4 new seasonal avatars and have bundled them together so you can get them all at a steep discount (limited time offer). New Perks! Summer is heating up on Investor Island, so we have some cool new changes in store for you. Skull Tiles: Perhaps you saw them in our last special event, now they've spread across the island! Build a statue on one of these new special tiles to generate 2-4 skulls per turn, making it easier to devastate your opponent via Stock God tributes. Combine these with the Skull-tivator and Cult of the Stock Gods perks, and render your hapless enemy into a whimpering pile of regret! Skull tiles are now a permanent addition to all Duel game boards. New Board: Stock Hoptions - Face off on this brand new duel board, the largest one on the island, featuring tons of perks, skull tiles, as well as lots of tiny "islands" which require strategic use of the Jump spell. Revive Spell Modifications - Additionally, we've made significant changes to the Revive spell to reduce its effectiveness as an offensive weapon. Revive will now trigger DURING combat instead of AFTER. Here is the specific order of combat: 1) Offensive statues attack target 2) Defensive statues retaliate 3) Revive spells activate on any applicable statues 4) Repeat sequence until either original target or all attacking statues have been destroyed. This will prevent players from the ol' "attack a temple, revive/heal all your statues, and reapply revives" for an easy knockout. Bug Fixes - Fix bug where you couldn't de-select spells - Resolved an issue where the "challenge a friend" quest was only being awarded if you defeated the player. Now, you'll get the quest reward even if you lose. - Fixed a bug where "most played stocks" were being incorrectly reported on player profile screens

New - Trial of the Gods Play our exciting new set of custom scenarios which features all three stock gods on a single board! Can you make it all the way through and win awesome rewards including another exclusive avatar? Skull Tiles This month's Trial includes a new type of tile that allows you to collect additional skulls from the board. In a future release, we will begin adding these tiles to regular Duel boards. Enhancements and Balancing changes Other Enhancements: - Perk Tiles have been added to live boards to give you even more reason to wake up at 4AM to make a move. - Some of the special tiles on Hedge Maze have been tweaked/moved to allow for a wider variety of gameplay strategies. - Release notes will now appear in the News section. Bug Fixes: - Fixed an issue in Live matches where players could swap out a statue that was under attack. - Finishing the Trials of the Gods with every single curse no longer freezes the game. - Robot opponents will no longer collect more than 10 skulls before tributing. - Resolved a bug where some players' ratings were getting reset if using multiple devices. - Added some measures to prevent Live matches from occasionally getting out of sync.

It's a new season on Investor Island, and along with it, there are some exciting new additions! Trials of the Gods Are you brave and clever enough to survive the Trials of the Gods? These solo-mode, limited-duration events are a series of custom scenarios on brand new game boards. Defeat your robot opponent in all of the scenarios to win extra special lootboxes filled with a variety of game goodies, including epic stock cards. Trials of the Gods - Escalation Mode Curses If a single Trial isn't challenging enough, you can choose to replay the event, suffering an in-game curse from the gods (which stack) each time you replay. The more you replay and win, the higher up the leaderboard you'll climb, earning you more valuable rewards (such as exclusive avatars!) and possibly getting you that key promotion at work! Enhancements Even though most of us want to forget its existence, 2020 is now a playable year in historical duels. Game Balancing -We reduced the likelihood for receiving bonus spells from multiple stacks of the Spell Scavenger perk. -To reduce exploiting, we lowered the rewards received from challenging a friend. Bug Fixes -Fixed instance where players could not start new matches because of uncollected rewards. -Fixed an issue where a player "suiciding themselves" (i.e. attacking those 9 surrounding max-health, uber-buffed enemy statues with your final temple) caused the game to freeze. -Fixed a bug with treasure chests when a player has selected no spells (which you shouldn't do anyway!). -Removed a bug in tutorials where game would zoom to the wrong cell and leave the confused player in disarray, causing them to throw their phone into the toilet.

There are four new stocks available in the game, ranging from 20-year market crushers to exciting new companies. - Tractor Supply - Illumina - The Trade Desk - Zynga Temple Placement Icons - Ripping your hair out because your ultra-perkified sure-fire winning stock has been placed right near your opponent? We now have icons that show you which stock slots are associated with which temple squares. Game Balancing - Jump spell now costs 40 gems (up from 30). This spell was meant to be a utility spell instead of must-have money-saving, all-purpose spell. Enhancements - Players can now interact with the game board (zoom, drag, touch for info, etc.) from the stock picking screen. - Players will no longer receive cards of a stock if the stock is maxed out at level 10. Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue in Live games where having a robot player was causing the game to replay the entire game on each return to the game. We'll see you on the Island!

Hello! We've added several fixes in addition to the update below. New Feature - Spell Points No longer are you constrained with only 5 spell slots! You will now spend "spell points" when picking your initial spells, allowing for a wider variety of possibilities. Finally, you can swap that Max-Healthed, Battle-Upped, Trapped, Watchtowered, Revived statue! Spell cap - To prevent hoarding, you may only now have 5 of any single spell type. Any additional spells from chests will be lost until you get below the spell cap. Gem/Skull counts - When picking stocks for a Duel, you can see how many gems and skulls that stock will produce for the year. (Note: if we could do this for Live, we'd probably be investing in real stocks a lot more and playing this game a lot less.) Fireball damage has been reduced to 40-60 damage. Perks! We made the following changes: Nerfs: - Death Benefit (from +3,+2 to +3,+1) - Master Builder (from -2,-1 to -1,-1) Buffs: - Temple Fortitude (from +1000 single temple to +1000 health all temples) - Killer Temples (from +100,+75 single temple to +50,+50 attack all temples) - Healthy Returns (from - +20/+10 per duel/live interval to +40/+20) We've added a quest button to stock and spell picker screens, so you don't have to buy a new phone to look at them simultaneously. Incendra's scorched tiles now disappear on the turn of the player who generated them instead of at the end of player 2 for both players. Player rating increases/decreases have been changed for live games. Ratings will now change at a fixed amount (ignoring opponent's ratings) depending on your final place. Fixed a bug where players could forfeit without picking stocks and still receive rewards. News items are no longer limited to just stocks and can now be used for information/updates regarding the game. We now have an in-game graphics settings to help adjust battery life and performance Enjoy! - Your Investor Island Team
