Game design Is flawed
I love this game... but slowly came to realize that the goal is to make you spend money.
Like the other reviews I read, the customers come out slowly and waste a good 10 seconds so you’re always short customers which requires you to spend money.
I also noticed that if the target is 17 thumbs up, I get the 17 or more and it won’t give me the key. And when I go to play that level again, the 17 thumbs up is now 24. Same with money... if it says the goals is 250 and I pass it, I don’t get the key and now the goal is 375.
I messaged the game team through the app and I got the same canned response that’s in the reviews. “You keep with it champ and you’ll get there”. It’s condescending because I’ve beat the level and you’re not giving me the key. I’ve spent money because I do like the game and I get so frustrated but now I’m aggravated that it seems to be every level now.
I’m disappointed ... it’s either a glitch or it’s by design to force the user to spend money.Show lessMariposa531
Racist references/ stereotypes
I started playing this game because I love cooking games, but as the game got harder I noticed that there is only one character of color, but what really bothered me is that as the game became harder the only character that would get angry right away was the character of color. As a person of color there is always the stereotype that we are angry and easily frustrated, specially man color of that as 2021 has proved to us has been proof of the racism and the issues we experience on a day to day. All I ask is for more diversity, representation is so important for the kids playing this game, and even the adults.Show lessCin.V
Great & Addictive Game
I love that I can sit and play this game for hours, and it’s honestly super easy to play without using gems. While sometimes it’s a bit more difficult to beat when you get further into restaurant levels, it offers you videos to watch for boosts to help you win the levels and also, videos to receive more gems and you actually win a decent amount. (5-10 gems instead of other games that offer 2-3 gems for watching videos)Show lessshxtxpmeg
Great entertaining game!
This is a great game. The levels are achievable and fun! I took off a star for 1 reason only...i absolutely dislike (hate is a strong word) that my little peppermint candies are given our for me and the time frame to replace is so long. I would like the option to decide when to give it to the waiting customer. I think that tool would be better used on levels where losing customers is something you don’t want to do Not where the goal is not letting things burn or the timed levels. Just a suggestion. Annoying pop ups!!!
I really want to give this game five stars, but there’s one major annoying thing this game does. Even though I pay to have ads removed, I still get very annoying pop ups after every single level. When I am on a roll I do not want to be stopped everytime to be told “like us on Facebook!” “Try our other game!” “Buy your piggy bank!” “Complete your daily tasks!” “Rate us in the App Store!” I could play 10 levels in a row and still get pop ups. All these things could just be icons on the side of the main screen with a notification dot and I will get to them when I want, especially if I paid for the game. There needs to be more fluidity into the next level because of the nature of this game.
Other than that I love this game. I love the graphics, the sounds are satisfying, it’s fast and keeps up with my taps. I don’t too much care for the mini games like collecting cards and spinning the wheel, but I see the appeal to other players. Another suggestion I have is to see more diversity in the customers. Black people aren’t just football players! We are cute kids and college students and happy business people and fitness junkies too. Would like to see other races included as well.Show lessDejasmiles

The game is fun, I play games like this to help with memory and stuff. My only complaint is some levels you have to cook for example 65 plates and have 60 seconds, the people walk to slow the first one don’t come out till almost 10 seconds later and pop up what they want and before you can get upgrade food sometimes it takes forever and the only way to beat the level is using diamonds to up grade way before it will up grade itself. And just one level I dislike the sushi level the only problem I have is when you put food in the boat the sushi is really close to gather and sometimes you will hit the wrong one or you got to play really slow to not hit it by accident, which is bad cause it always happens and happens when I’m not aloud to throw stuff away so I can’t restart boat or I lose level , my advice would be put the food not so close cause they are small icons or make it where the boat isn’t concerned part of the throw away trash levels. And you can refresh the boat without losing the level. But it’s still a fun game. Just updated the new versionShow lessSweetheart00122

On level 216 of the Sushi Restaurant, the customers cannot receive the food therefore cannot pass the level. Sent error to tech support...no response. In the Bbq restaurant, the game ends and the pop-up to use 100 diamonds to continue pops up so quickly, it will cause you to accidentally spend your diamonds while you think you’re still serving dishes (need a confirmation pop-up when spending that many diamonds). Saw it was updated a day ago, but no fix for these issues. In addition, you will constantly need to finish almost every level with all 3 stars just to be able to pass harder levels as they won’t give you enough customers to win without doing so.Show lessDestinyAG
Love this game but now I’m stuck!
Level 264-2 seems impossible to win. Within the regular time I can only earn a little over half the money needed. I’ve used boosters, the extra 10 seconds and even spent 100 gems to use an extra 30 seconds! The customers just don’t come in fast enough to earn the coins needed. Please check this level. I have spent money on this game more than a few times and might again if I can actually get past this level! Thanks!Show lessSpock11
Love this game BUT
I love this game BUT when you a timed level as soon as the person starts walking it starts counting down and they walk down to the end of the counter so you’ve lost 3-5 seconds and you just about beat the timer with 15/16 and now they want 100 diamonds to play on so you have to buy diamonds if the timer started when they reached the end of the counter and the order popped up that would allow the extra few seconds and you’d win without having to constantly buy diamonds. I’ve spend a lot of money buying diamonds and so I’ll probably quit if they don’t fix that problem or change it cause that’s aggravating.Show lessDj cj cj dj dj dj dj

I liked the game when I first downloaded it but when I got to the bakery, I noticed the levels were drawn out and too long. I almost stopped playing because it was boring. Then moving to another restaurant, it’s nearly impossible to pass these levels without using boots or diamonds. They have the additional 10 seconds if you watch the commercials but it doesn’t help. I know what they are doing, I understand you need to make your money but I refuse to spend money on this game to get ahead if it is rigged.
I thought it was just me at first but I see a lot of us have the issue of the customers not coming fast enough to even finish the level! Even now, I just had an issue to where I actually paused the game and the customers were steadily coming and using up all my candy to keep them satisfied!
I’ll check back later to see if there is an update but for now, I think I’ll give this game a rest. Do not get into the habit of spending your money on this game. That’s what they want.Show lessSweetieKinzLo
