  • Love the app but...

Can you please get it to actually pause and play when it's supposed to. & actually play at the correct duration that it's set for. Thank you
  • Songs and set lists are too clunky

Bands rarely keep things static for long. Having an app you have to fight with to change your set lists is hard to deal with.

This feels like a very good idea that nobody bothered to polish up.

Automatically moving through your set list is great, but songs shouldn’t be stuck in a single set list. I’ve had the app crash on me for attempting to hit the copy button dozens of times.

    Wish list:
    1) Chords above lyrics. Being able to have a button to transpose those chords would be great too.
    2) being able to have an overall song library, and being able to add a song easily from the library to any set list would make this much more functional.
    3) a tap tempo button for when the band is going just a bit faster/slower than the studio version

Hi CRZELI, Thank you for your feedback. I will look into the suggestions, in regards to the song library; that’s already a work in progress and should arrive within the next few updates. The tempo can already be changed, which reflects in the indicator. If I understand correctly you suggest a button to tap which gathers the tempo instead of setting a number. This is something we will also look into. If you have any other feedback please reach out through contact@bandcompanion.app. Fr re, Nicky
  • Probably good if it worked

Paid for premium so I can add more than 10 songs to a set list only to find out the duration of the set list is not accurate at all. It was time consuming on this clunky ui to add all the durations just for it to tell me an incorrect time of 5:45 for my 16 song playlist that’s closer to 80 min. Waste of $2

  • Not Ready For Primetime

Interesting app/concept and has a lot of potential. But frankly, I’ve grown tired of the the word-input of the lyrics being buggy and not being able to line-up the scrolling of the text with the intended song. I made it almost through the third song before I gave up. Let me know when you fix that text field and when you have the option for lyric waypoints and then I’ll try it again.

  • Great… until it isn’t…

Will not let me open my 2nd set without the app crashing. Cannot even delete the set. Tried rebooting, re-downloading, and restarting.

  • Operation

I have this on my iPad. It’s been working great. But is Wi-Fi required to use it? When I go to band mates for rehearsal is seems to need Wi-Fi to work, even though I’ve pasted all the lyrics into it.
  • Unreliable

Trouble shooting for three days. Lost all my valuable work
Do Not buy. Where is the support? Thanks for making my life a nightmare before important auditions. I was counting on this it has let me horribly please get me access to my work so I can use another app. I’ve spent 100’s of hours working in this app to have no access and a white blank screen. I worked in tech support. I’ve done all I can.

  • Some things great, some things not

One of the most straightforward tools out there to get songs into the tool. However no ability to shift color schemes on background and the songs you enter into a set don’t seem to stay in a pool somewhere where you can pull from to make alternate sets etc. maybe I just haven’t figured it out yet
  • Move Songs from list to list

I love this app. It’s a life saver. Is there a way
I can move songs lyrics from one set list to another without having to retype or copy and paste them? Like having a master list you can drag and drop into a new set list when needed?

Also, can key entry either lost all keys (flats) or the ability to manually add it?

Hi! Thank you for your feedback. If you go to the screen where you edit songs, there is a copy button at the bottom of the page. From there you can copy a song to a different setlist! Glad to hear you enjoy Band Companion! Cheers, Nicky
  • It’s ok - needs an offline option

I think overall it works to house lyrics for a full show. I have had times where I can’t connect to Wi-Fi and then the app is useless. I don’t get why I can’t download the lyrics to the app. Even if it’s limited storage I need the ability to access my lyrics without a hotspot.
