Good but missing some helpful / informative functions.

I’m using this app for watering only. Easy set up and control but lacks detailed tracking of watering. If you want to know how much water you are using each watering cycle you can only view the last cycle. Adding an alert for spikes in water usage would be useful for identifying leaks if they occur also.

Hi Togan, Thanks for your review, in your WX tap timer you can view your water use in the 'Sensor' page, select 'Water Flow' (at the top left) to view up to 10 days of data from your tap timer. The updated app doesn’t work

The new update refuses to initiate the start times , the old version was incredibly intuitive and worked perfectly the update , looks bad , is not at all intuitive or user friendly and iv gone over every single function but the starts won’t work . Why they would update a flawless working app just for the sake of it and turn it into rubbish is dumbfounding.

Location Location Locations

Since the app update I cannot set my location for various functions that use location such as weather in my area not 66 km away, please fix this problem

Apple Watch app

Hi there, it would be great if the weather station is added to list of devices for the Apple Watch app

Ruined by updates

I am not enjoying the new updated app.
The new layout has taken away the simplicity that made this app brilliant and easy to use.
Watering manually using the preset stations is now harder. Also, each update wipes all the presets and you need to set them all over again.
Bring back the old layout!

Am/pm

Just bought Holman co3011 K Connect Tap Timer. Trying to set it up to automatic watering, but it only allows for AM set up, Pm times are not available, can that be right?
Would really like to be able to use PM times too.

Been using this timer with moisture sensitive for 3 weeks. Automation works okay, however when moisture is above set limit, it still shows as watering when physically it is not as moisture in soil is above set limit. It would be great if status showed “not watering to schedule as moisture is above set limit”

Also would be great if you can program misting in manual watering mode.

Finally an option to stop scheduled watering by app after it has started.

Very buggy

I have two of these and both have required resetting just for first setup. They don’t always save changes to schedules and one although I have reset it twice now it still won’t work. This time I cannot even set a time for manual watering. Tap the screen and get nothing. I’m no tech idiot either and have tried closing and reopening the app as well as deleting and resuming the device. I have 2 WX1 tap timers.

Usually you get a ‘save again’ option when the start hasn’t saved, but in most cases with a good Wi-Fi signal it should save first time. Best garden watering automation devices

I changed my router and as expected, things started to fall apart. Holman customer care helped me to find a solution to my problem!

If I want to go overseas, or if I want to water my garden, I use Holman devices and they work like a dream!

Good basic functionality, but improvement needed

Edit: thanks for the response Holman team, but please read my review again, you missed the mark - I don’t leave it running in the background, I do close it and re-open it every time I need to use it. It’s upon opening that it doesn’t refresh, it shows the next watering time as a date in the past, which is annoying that I have to wait longer than I should have to for it to update, I can’t even trigger a refresh manually (with the standard swiping function most decent apps have) - try again and update your app.

Basic functionality exists to set schedule and turn on and off manually is ok. I like that I can see my usage last time it was run, which is helpful, but I’d like to see a trending feature that allows to see interruptions or flow changes, in the event of a leak for example. It also doesn't seem to update the next watering date/time until the app has been running for some time. I want to verify the next scheduled run time sooner than 5 mins after I open the app.
