Major Deficiencies Noted
Great app, definitely better than the first one. But this one doesn’t display question difficulty level any longer. And there isn’t any way to change font size. As a study tool, these are BIG deficiencies that need immediate fixing
So many improvements, great STRATEGY
This version is much improved over previous versions both in terms of user friendliness and content. I love the review features most with the balance of in-depth review (extended explanations, embedded videos, and page references) and also quick reviews (re-Kaps and short answer explanations) so you can move at the pace that fits you at that time. The Strategy tab I review makes the app unique compared to other USMLE QBanks with strategic approaches to questions to help you identify various problems and address them to take you the next step further. Hoping to see a version of this app compatible with Android devices soon.

Great App
This is a great way to help in preparation of the USMLE Step 1. There are a variety of questions to be quizzed on and great explanations per question after submission. Overall great app!!

I really appreciate being able to know exactly which questions I changed my answers on and whether I changed my answers from incorrect to correct or vice versa. Very helpful feature!
Amazing
I absolutely love the new Kaplan app. I find the app to be very easy to use with a very sleek design. Most mobile qbank questions and explanations don’t fit on the screen perfectly but THIS ONE DOES!
Great new app!
I’ve been so excited for the new Kaplan USMLE app to come out! I used it this morning and it was perfect. No technological issues and the questions themselves in the q bank were so informative and helpful!
GREAT APP
This is an amazing app that features a whole range of questions on multiple subjects and disciplines that you can edit to help prep for the Step 1. You can even track your progress based on your customized experience. What a great resource!!
Comprehensive & User-Friendly
This app is super user-friendly! It offers a a great simulation of Kaplan’s computer-based testing and tutoring materials for Step 1. You can easily customize your tests by subject, timing and tutor mode. I was impressed by the ease of reading each question on my relatively small phone screen. The explanations include embedded links to videos, which are very useful, and I have not experienced any glitches in loading answers or media. My favorite part of the app is the auto-pause function. If you need to set your phone down or if your screen locks for any reason, your test automatic all pauses and resumes when you reopen the app. This will be great to use on the go.

Great app!
It is easy to use and has great explanation for both the correct answer and the wrong answer. I really liked the video explanation attached to some questions.
AMAZING for reviewing for USMLE Step 1
I have only used this once so far for step 1 but I think the way they've designed the app is amazing. LOVE the way it tells you of you changed answers from wrong to right.
They give you both short AND detailed answer explanations and I especially love the "strategy" section of the review where it tells you how you should be approaching the questions.
It also breaks down your strengths and weaknesses by organ system and discipline and gives you little graphs to see the information visually.
It's very easy and intuitive to navigate and gives you the opportunity to practice your questions on the go. Love this app!! So glad I downloaded it - will definitely be using it frequently
