Most the time I can get up into the 200 levels in these games but this one went bad as soon as they added that bonus activation crap that you have to pay for. Takes 3-4 tries to win a level and if you don’t win the first time the bonus is gone. Takes 2-4 stars to complete a task and 3-4 times to win a level so it takes forever to advance. The story is ok, but I’ve had to cut it short cause it took my whole lunch to get thru it.

I don’t know if it’s on purpose but it seems like you get to a point that every level ends with one move to win so of course you spend the 900 coin to win… and of course you only make 50-60 coins per game. 18 levels to make enough to win one. AND DELETE…

  • Don’t normally review

I don’t normally write reviews unless there is something wrong but I LOVE this game. What a wonderful story and great art. I play and spend on many games like this i.e. solitaire home, merge mansion etc. but this is my ABSOLUTE favorite. The events are fun and often, levels are the perfect amount of difficulty. I would like more clothing options but other than that don’t change a thing!

  • I love this game but

I agree with the person who said one year ago that if we spend 30 seconds watching an ad we deserve five moves instead of just one. Team responded to them and said they would take it under consideration but obviously they didn’t. Other than that this is my go to game.
  • why the difficulty?

I got into Homescape because of my SIL but quit because one had 10 chances to clear 50 situations. I enjoyed the format of the game so I googled “games similar to Homescape but easier”. The reviews that came up included Storyngton. I loved the regency setting so downloaded. At level 171 it’s time to bid adieu for the reasons listed by others and it also became ridiculously difficult to clear the board. I did spend some money on it but the discouragement at losing ad nauseum got to me. Au Revoir.

  • Fun but tries to force you to spend money

So first, this game is pretty fun. I enjoy the story aspect, and I like puzzles. As for the money part: This game gives impossible goals, and then encourages players to spend money just so they can beat an otherwise unbeatable level. I don't mind spending money on games I enjoy. However, when a game is supposed to be free and then the devs try to force you to spend money to advance, I delete it. I would be happy to watch ads to get extra moves; that's how I found this game - but I have only had that option once, and it only gave me one extra move. After trying one such impossible level until I ran out of lives (hint - it took several hours!), I am deleting this game. I won't be forced to spend money.

  • old player

I really love this game. I have just passed level 850 and am in the middle of the sweet festival. and now I am hitting a bug every day.
I have to uninstall and reinstall sometimes three times a day!
As soon as I hit the part where I have to wait for the next heart, the whole game cuts out and I am asked to contact customer support. I don not play through facebook so that is impossible.
The whole thing is so frustrating that I will have to give up.
Terrible shame because this game is way out the best in decorating games.

  • Brilliant but could be better

This game is wonderful but there are way too many of them little games that you have to play to get stars. You literally can’t walk across the room without having to have a star to get there.

But I always pick faults about everything. Otherwise it is a really good game and I would recommend it to others. 😀😀😀

  • Glitches

I have such a love/hate relationship with this game. And I spend entirely too much money on it, but that’s my own fault.
Anyway, lately it has been SO glitchy. I think the developers need to update their server, or software, or something. Some days I can’t get in, or if I do, the screen just blacks out. It is so very frustrating.
It has an interesting storyline, unlike similar games, this one is worth reading, and the graphics are lovely, but they need to do something about these glitches.
    Thanks.
