A great way to learn French
Filled with short, interesting news stories, this is a perfect app to challenge your French comprehension, test your grammar and broaden your vocabulary.
Frustrating to use.
1. Transcription only visible on first exercise. If you want to see it later you have to page back, which loses your inputs. 2. When you are supposed to slide answers, they won’t slide. 3. If you don’t get everything right first time, it won’t accept inputs for corrections.

Authentic input
Excellent application with genuinly interesting content. Many methods have rather dull texts and videos, with a focus on grammar and vocabulary. This method teaches French organically, which is the best way to learn a language (see Steve Kaufmann’s work). Highly recommended!
An iPad version would be nice

I can’t believe this is a free app! It’s just like a course that you would normally have to pay for, I am so grateful that tV5 has provided this to people interested in learning French.

Sometimes find the musical intro too long (want to get on with the exercise - would help to have a forward button) but this app is the best way to listen and learn. Really love it. Thank you TV5.
For review only
This app doesn’t do anything in terms of teaching grammar or words, only having comprehension exercises. Useful for a French primary school child but not a person learning French

Mon niveau de français est très bien , pourtant je choisis le niveau débutant parce qu’il y a beaucoup de fiches sonores et des études de la langue qu’on trouve pas aux autres niveaux.
