  • Just… wow

This is a fun, relaxing, and supprisingly sad game about 3 gibbons. You, a mother gibbon and the baby gibbon. But sadly as you play things get darker from the jungle getting torn down to (not gonna spoil it for you) it’s sad and crazy! Devs, if you ever see this, there’s one suggestion I have. Free roam mode. It’s a game mode where you and many other gibbons go through a jungle which is a loop (you can see the other parts and monkeys in the background) I just thought take a break from (spoiler) and go back to the relaxing days of chapter 1. Welp. That’s all I have to say… gibbon

  • Just what I loved 🥰

This game was so heartwarming to play and you all put so much effort into the art style and the and the story. However, the passing of the yellow gibbon was too much for me and punched my heart out. But unfortunately it is the reality of life. I do believe that we can put an end to this and change the world 🌎. The music 🎼 was so good and sound effects were even better! I wish I could get better at the (swing and release) mechanics but I sure wasn’t let down. But now pink gibbon swings and boosts with lilac. Just like yellow would do🥲 as proud as he is. Okay I’m getting emotional 😭 if you’re bored like I was , then get gibbon!

  • Beautifully made

What a beautiful game and a great way of raising awareness. I actually felt an emotional connection as I played. The controls were a little hard to fathom out at first, but soon became intuitive - try not to overthink when you first play, just swing through the trees and release just before you reach the end of a branch. I found it a far more immersive experience with sound on. The first game is quite short but plenty of replayability trying to get all of the badges. Well done developers.

  • Kinda sad but good.

It was sad how the parent died because it was fun playing with me and my parent and my parent helped me and it was sad when my parent died by the gunners. It was also sad when my sister lilac got captured it was sad when I reached last chance because I thought I had to do the exactly right thing to save her but when I saw the chapter eight I thought I couldn’t save her. But it was a good game anyways.

  • Love it ❤️❤️

First off, this game is just beautiful! And I love how you made this game to show the struggles of gibbon monkeys or pretty much any animal when humans come into their home and just destroy everything- which I’ve never really seen in a game before, so I really like that. Some people say it’s boring and you just swing around, but once you get deeper into the story it starts making more sense and gets slightly less boring. Overall this game is just so beautiful and amazing 🦧❤️

  • A joy to play until…

This game is an undeniable joy to play. It’s fun, calming and fairly simple. Gorgeous art style and simplistic story telling up until the chapter where you are being hunted down and shot at. This to me is not ok and imo is an effective deterrent for me to entirely halt on playing it. Yes I realize that it’s an undeniable fact and horrible truth of the gibbon species and that there are monsters in human form that are hunting these beautiful animals. So, in conclusion… 4 stars. Would have been 5 if I wasn’t so heartbroken and turned off by the hunting aspect. There are more appropriate avenues of making a civilization aware and conscious of this situation. A level in an otherwise enjoyable game is not one of those avenues. That is all.

    Developer Response

I'm sorry we made you feel uncomfortable! I do think that for most of our players this is an important part of the game, though. Anyways, stopping to play in that circumstance is a very appropriate reaction! ❤️
  • Fantastic game!

I think this game is really good because it is very relaxing and is very intresting to play. I like how it shows fire and men chopping down trees as it is showing us how sad it is for the rainforest. The graphics are good and the story is phenomenal and I like the sounds of the animals it makes me feel like I am there. Great game I recommend 👍😆

  • Confusion

I love this game because I care about forest and I don’t like people who make deforestation happen but I’m a bit confused on this one where you have to follow that yellow monkey where that giant log I keep falling And it’s really confusing I don’t know what I’m doing wrong and I don’t know what I’m post to do can you please tell me what to do as it’s so hard I’m still doing it for a long long time it made me almost rage quit can you please make it a bit easier

  • Beautiful

It helps me relax after a tough day, and I enjoy the fact that even though you’ve finished the game or something you can still go back and play the other chapters! Highly recommended even if you don’t want to use it to relax, because it’s super fun just to swing!
  • Brilliant, too short!

This game is amazing. The visuals, the story, and as a complete animal nerd, I love that it raises awareness about these amazing animals. I got grips of the controls fairly easily, some could say that they were too simple. But honestly, this game is about the visuals and experience. Everywhere you go the landscapes and backgrounds are beautiful.

Onto the story.. I loved how it tells a story without needing to be explained. This music tells you you’re in danger, there’s lots of sun so we’re probably safe… it’s almost like a short film. Even the credits had the little detail of showing photos of you and the purple gibbon passing the months together, and it slowly growing up.

5 stars from me.. one problem, though. Too short! Finished in about an hour, any longer may have been a drag though. The story was where it needed to be by the end.
