Sometimes boring/grind, sometimes fun
I was initially drawn in by the expedition mode which is good. This is not the focus of the game however. To access later expedition chapters, you have to do things called levels, which is about as dull as you can get and not related to the expedition mode. This other mode (levels, PvP and honour hunting) is the main focus of the game which unfortunately has a large amount of grinding to improve troops.
There are really easy but boring battles (Headhunt) that are mindnumbingly boring and easy, but you have to do them to get the rare ingame currency (gems).
When there is a 2x speed mode to skip through the battles (paying not to play the game!) then you know there is a problem.
These are all small problems. The main problem though is that new features that are added could be good but are not thought through properly and often leave a sour taste. They also need to improve the game to allow new players to catch-up.
Edit: They have released a new game mode recently called Infinity War which I have enjoyed and has increased replayability.Show lessSnorri Snagason

Never wrote a review before but this game deserves it ! No forcing stupid ads down our throat it’s great ! Honestly can’t stop playing ! One thing is creators please please make more expedition levels you guys are definitely onto something with that it’s amazing haha I spent too much time playing it so hats off as I’ve never really got into any apps like this !

I don’t usually review games, but this app is exceptional. Granted, even if you don’t want to play the online mode, you do need internet to play, but don’t let that put you off.
With an abundance of things to unlock, discover and several different modes this game is different to others, and I happened to stumble across it in the App Store one day, that realised surprised me as I thought a game as good as this would probably have some scummy advertising technique, but no, nothing but honestly.
I have been playing this game for over 6 months and I have never seen an advert about it. Truly incredible game, highly recommended.Show lessDantrecdo👾👾👾

Keeps crashing on my iPad

Nooo! I JUST updated the game to version 4.1.4 and unfortunately I had yet to link the game profile to a back-up. Now to game won’t even begin to load, it’ll go to a white screen and crash immediately! I made a big mistake in updating the game as my phone is outdated as I am unable to afford a new phone.. The game had been crashing due to lag since the update before the last two, so I thought updating would solve this issue but has made an even bigger issue. I LOVE this game, have put thousands of hours into it already and would be heartbroken should I have to start again. So many hero’s, so many levels. Please help!! I CANNOT start again, I WILL NOT start again. It has taken me so long to get to where I am. I have 400+ saved double coins, over 200 gems. And my army was ALMOST maxed out for the level I was at.
