  • Cute

The app is very cute and a great motivator, but I do wish your Nomi’s health wouldn’t go down when your watch is on the charger. There are some days (especially the weekends) when I just don’t put my watch on. I’ve had two Nomis die because I left my watch on the charger all day and didn’t feed them. Or if you could get a notification on your phone reminding you to feed them when you don’t have your watch on.

  • Cute and motivating!

I love nomi and how it will often push me to go just a little further! I do wish hearts stacked, as others have said, so that I don’t need to keep checking in the middle of a workout or face the sadness of doing 2-3 hearts worth of effort and only getting 1 fed.

It would also be really nice if there were an option for a rest/recovery/sick day every once in a while, since I’ve most often had a nomi die on me on a day I SHOULDNT be moving (like a bad migraine day) and wish I could do what’s right for my body without killing the lil guy.

  • Love it!

I love this app for my watch. It’s so much fun watching my Nomi grow, and evolve. However, like some have mentioned, it would be nice if it would automatically “feed” the Nomi, instead of having to manually go in and do it. With my job, I am on my feet and moving constantly but I only remember to feed it now and then. Other than that, this is so much fun! It’s like the 2020’s version of the Tomagatchi from the 90’s! 😅

  • Cutest fitness app I’ve found.

I love this app. It’s simple to use, can be added to your watch screen and really encourages you to “go for a walk”, buoyed on by the excitement of watching your Nomi grow. Not only does it motivate you to get your steps in each day, to keep your pet alive. But it also acts as a reminder to keep your watch charged. I was always forgetting to charge up my watch or leaving it on charge but now I have gotten into a routine of charging and then back in my wrist to keep my little guy alive.

  • Meh. On the fence.

Cute and vaguely motivational. But as a shift worker, I hate that when I am asleep during the day, the Nomi isn’t. It can’t be that hard to design it to put it to sleep during Do Not Disturb mode. Then it sleeps while I’m awake. Should be able to set how long it sleeps and when. Also, if the watch isn’t on my wrist, it should suspend.

  • A fun little watch buddy but…

Overall a fun app, but needs some further capabilities to make it more user friendly. Would be great to be able to adjust sleep times and increase to 8 hours rather than 6. The step count also seems to be wildly inaccurate. Finally, the games are…meh! While I appreciate that Nomi is designed to motivate movement, some days you just can’t meet the goals because of reasons lol!

  • Love this app

My daughter and I absolutely love our Nomi’s, we’ve had them since yesterday. The only thing I cant work out is how to set up the friends connection. It’s saying I do t have my watch connected to the internet- but I do! Any suggestions on how to fix it? Other than that 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for sure! Feeding my little Nomi “Dumpling” is giving me a reason to get up and leave my work desk while I’m WFH! Thank you! 😊

  • Buffering on Apple Watch

I paid for the app on my phone because the app wouldn’t process on my watch. I then went to purchased in my account to download to my watch and it just sits there buffering 😔 my watch is up to date. Only giving 1 star because I can’t use it but I know I would give 5 stars if I could!! Any feed can would be appreciated!!
Update: after giving an initial 1 star, I can now say it’s finally working on my watch but still quite glitchy - it’s stopping and starting during my workouts but after my first Nomi died, I seem to be managing to keep my second one alive.., time will tell. Bug fixes would be great… 👍🏻

  • Too Good of an App? Possibly

Nomi is possibly one of the best fitness motivation apps on the market, but the enticing nature brings one fatal flaw: a deep emotional attachment to an adorable creature who can die in a day. I’ve worked on building my pet for years (590 days to be exact) and I hate to see him die after just hours of inactivity. Basically, all I’m asking for is a pause button to save my progress, or a way to store energy beyond the three hearts. Other than that, this is a wonderful app! Would definitely recommend to anyone with an Apple Watch.

  • Nomi

This is a cute way to encourage movement. I would be great if you could allow the app to be accessible from iPhone to make it easier to add friends etc. Few more games would be fun too especially for those who have full time office jobs.
