  • Becomes almost impossible to keep alive

Deleted the app on day 95 - was trying to get to the 100th day evolution but I ran out of food & energy. It becomes almost impossible to get enough energy to keep them fed all day once they get to higher evolutions - I wore my watch from before this thing would wake up to well past midnight & couldn’t get enough energy to keep them fed & I’m a very active person, including walking to/from work everyday.

Work out feature bugs consistently, it has a problem maintaining read on your heart rate & more times than not I will not get a single heart from an hour of being on the stairclimber with my heart rate well above 130.

    So sad - RIP

  • Family Sharing NOT supported

Even though they say up to 6 people can use this app with family share that is a lie. This app does not show up for anyone under purchases including the person who purchased it. Also DO NOT gift this app to anyone! They have to use something other than an Apple Watch to redeem the gift and app WILL NOT show under their purchases on Apple Watch.

Over all the app is fun and that’s why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Just wish they would be honest with their advertising of family sharing.

  • Will give five stars once issue fixed

Hi there! I’ve emailed support but haven’t heard back yet. I bought this app on the weekend for myself and loved it so much that I bought it again for my son for his Apple Watch. The money has been taken from my account for both purchases but my son cannot download it. He’s also tried buying it himself on the watch App Store but it’s not working. Please help! This is such a fab app and I can’t wait to see what my little dude evolves to on day 5! I’m on day 2 now. Highly recommend this great game though! Will update my rating once our issue has been resolved

  • Can’t download.

    Stupid
  • Obsessed!

I love this app! Nothing has kept me as engaged or responsible in closing my watch rings each day like those little tears from my nomi do when he’s hungry.

My only complaint is that I can’t seem to get the mini games to work. I don’t know if it’s me somehow or a glitch with the app. Whenever I tap on it I get no response from the game. Should I be doing something different?

Other than that, thanks for creating this! Brings back my tamagotchi days.

  • Fun electronic pal

Update: glitch happened twice yesterday. RIP Timothy IV - 84 days old.

Update: malfunction is happening even with the update on my watch. I’ve lost at least 7 extra hearts due to this glitch. Update: I manually forced an update on my watch and, fingers crossed, the quick boogie malfunction hasn’t happened yet. I’ve played four times and earned four hearts. Update: quick boogie is still malfunctioning. My heart rate averaged 150 during the entire 11 minutes and it still told me I lost. Update: played the quick boogie, I was on a rowing machine and my heart rate was well-above the target the ENTIRE time but it did not record it. So I quit halfway through and started over. It happened again. I did the whole thing this time, hoping that maybe the bar just wasn’t filling in, since there was a check mark in the bottom corner each minute. It still told me I lost and did not give me a heart. Hopefully my pet doesn’t die tomorrow when I know I’ll be unable to exercise. My nomi, Timothy IV (RIP Timothy Sr, Timothy Jr, and Timothy the third) is fun. It keeps me accountable because I really don’t want him to die. Those tears get me. Lol. It’s a lot less glitchy since I got a new watch.

    Developer Response

Update: I am so sorry. I really am. I think we may have discovered something that might be causing it. On your Apple Watch, can you please disable Autopause in: Settings > General > Workout > Autopause and see if that works? Thanks so much for your patience. We’re working through this one and it’s a tough nut to crack — everything we test it on seems to be working. Can you please reach out to hi@nomi.pet with some info about: 1. What exactly happens when you tap on the game? 2. Which version of the Apple Watch do you have? 3. What OS version are you using? Any help would be appreciated!
  • Terrible App, Disappears When Watch Updates iOS

I was at 34 days and my watch did the latest update while I was asleep. Nomi is nowhere to be found now, it cannot be redownloaded from the App Store as it is greyed out as Purchased, it is not actually listed under my App Store account under Purchased for either On This iPhone or Not On This iPhone, and it cannot be found anywhere on my watch or in its settings both on the watch and the iPhone. I did all of that work for nothing, do not even entertain this app, it’s a waste of time and there is no way to get it back once your watch updates.

  • Fun watch app w/ some room for improvement

It’s a fun app for the watch and my kids are getting a kick out of watching it with me.
I really like the update with games to store hearts for later, BUT if I try to play a game while also running the workout app, it kills the workout app. I’m a jogger and want to be able to collect my hearts while also tracking my time and distance in the workout app. If the two could be running in parallel that would be awesome!

  • Motivated

Really enjoy this app, I was starting to fall out of love with it as I just couldn't keep my nomi alive, due to lockdown and being at home homeschooling I just couldn't keep my steps up, especially when after your nomi reaches 20days old it takes 2000 steps for a heart, and when you’re stuck indoors its impossible, BUT the new update and ability to store hearts gained from the mini games is brilliant, I can save up sushis when I do my usual exercise outdoors. So my nomi is now 24days old. Thankyou for the update!!!

  • Very good motivator

I decided to purchase this app as I needed something different to motivate me to move once I had done my workouts for the day. It’s good coz it’s about moving and steps. You don’t need to workout to keep your pet alive, your heart becomes full when you are doing the house work or even washing the car. Everyday activities keeps your pet alive. The reason I have not given it a 5 stars is my watch battery life. As an AW user we all know that the battery life is pants. I find now that I am charging my watch half way through the day to keep the battery topped up. My watch battery used to get me through a day, I always charge it up at night only!!
