I’m playing on an IPAD and the touch controls are great. Very intuitive controls. I like the risk reward of swiping fast to get a more accurate (straight) shot at risk of going long or short. Also love the ability to fade or draw.
Was confused by the multiple characters during the course of a game but that is part of the charm.
Really enjoying this one - if you have ever played the HOT SHOTS GOLF series on PlayStation and enjoyed that you should like this game as well.Show lessWist a
Great game with some desires
I wish this game had tap controls like the playstation versions of everbody’s golf and hot shots. It would then be playable in one hand. Also the physics for the ball falling in the hole when putting some brutal. And last desire I have for this game is if they don’t add tap controls they really need to switch the green line/flag marker from the right side of the line to the left side of the line. I can’t see where the line is right now it’s under my thumb. All things aside this is a great game and I’m super happy to have one of my favorite series of games on the go with me!Show lessJo lumberjack
Surprisingly Addicting!
How this cartoony game has the best ‘golf physics’ anywhere on mobile, I will never know, but this is the golf game I’ve been looking for.
Sure, there are other great ones out there, but this one, more than any other, actually feels as though I’m in control of the ball, as apposed to some point and click RNGeezer; it probably helps that I’m able to use my Apple Pencil, which makes things feel even more precise.
It’s a tab empty; it’s just golf: tons and tons of simple golf, three to nine holes at a time. I’d like to see some stats kept and things like that, as I’ve been keeping track of Mina’s longest drive mentally, as well as other customization options, i.e. caddies, bags, clubs, etc. But what it does do, it does wonderfully.Show lessdrummerchaos
Favorite arcade game by miles!
I looooove the swipe system so glad that it’s not the usual three click system where it gets so repetitive and too easy. This feels more natural. I’ve got some personal wishes - wish I could see more detailed overall stats and scores besides on score attack…wish putting/driving slices-hooks were more of a challenge. It’s very hard to hit a bad special driving shots for some reason, weird. Wind is such a non factor even at stormy setting. Additionally, is there a particular reason, the world tournament or survival modes don’t gain any experience? They take so much time but I get practically nothing out of them so I don’t feel like there’s enough incentives. Thank you for such a wonderful game, this’ll keep me occupied for a while. ❤️Show lessBluebirdisreal

I do like this game. Simple golf game, controls aren’t horrible. A bit cartoonish which is fine. It lowers my expectations on the controls. The thing that bugs me though is the lack of sound control. Overall the sounds aren’t bad and I like having them on, except every time you click the arrow to continue, there is an obnoxious high-pitched *clink*. I mean really ear-piercing. And its every time you move forward from the animations, which is like twenty times a hole. *clink* if only I could turn off this stupid sound I might be able to *clink* change my rating but *clink* as of now *clink* it makes me want to smash *clink* my *clink* device.Show lessCDog1978
Best Golf Game Out There
I love this golf game. Simple…I love playing it, and it is super fun! I remember playing a version like this on PlayStation years ago.
I wish the controls would be improved. The graphics are ok. And I wish you could earn the clothes faster. Overall, I give it 5 stars, because of the overall game play. I’m hoping the developers listen to the fans, and improve the best golf game, to make it even better.Show lessjnr202
A bit sparse for Clap Hanz with control issues
I’ve been playing Clap Hanz golf series since I bought my first PSP in Japan 15 years ago, so I’ll admit that I have a lot of expectations. I miss being able to customize gear and feel the toons are very limited. The graphics are a bit sparse considering the power of my devices. But the thing that reliably kills the fun is erratic controls.
At least once in every match it gets the power of a shot completely wrong. I’ll pull a fairway shot to 100% only to have it land well short and register 40% power. Using a controller is differently twitchy. I once somehow missed a 1” putt by not hitting it hard enough. 😫Using a controller is fine for drives, but not accurate enough for putting.
Still, if they fix the control problems, I’ll probably play this one to 100%. There’s a fun game in there.Show lessOokseer

I haven’t played a Clap Hanz golf game since the PlayStation 2’s Hot Shots Golf 3, which was my favorite golf game by far. The gameplay was remarkable and concise. It didn’t take itself too seriously, but really delivered where it counts. Clap Hanz Golf on iOS is made in the same manner. It’s simply fantastic.
Bravo to the developer; you’ve managed to put out another fantastic game, which brings the best parts mobile and home (AppleTV) gaming together seamlessly.

Hotshots Golf on the Go!!
This game is so much fun and perfect for the video game golfer on the go. I just beat the game and rolled credits yesterday. PLEASE DEV tell me there will be more courses and golfers on the way?? This game has legs and is set up for future DLC. Would love to see online tournaments in the future. Also would love a possible FAST::: play option to skip the after shot animations (running to the hole). I realize you can double tap the screen but it’s turns into a tapping exercise when I want to play in a quick manner. These are minor improvements to an already great game. Also, any interest in bringing this to the Nintendo Switch? I’d be down to double down! $$$Show lessBinavision
Need more caddies, especially Zhang Lu
I’ve played this game for 30 days now and I love it but it is also frustrating. It is so hard to make precise shots. I try to swipe straight up and the game says I went right (not all the time of course). When putting on the green, I can barely tell how much the ball will turn and steer because the dots don’t line up to form a path. Not to mention the flick controls adding to the difficulty. Don’t get me wrong though, I’ve had plenty of successes in this game but I can’t calculate my shots most of the time. It also feels like the wind is lying sometimes. But I have gotten a Hole-in-one and an Albatross so it’s not like the game is impossible.
Other than that, the game has that Clap Hanz charm. Decent graphics, fun presentation, and nice character designs. The golfers themselves show lots of personality despite having no voices. There’s also plenty of unlockables to keep you playing when the game is already addictive. I wish I could just buy this game and I wish there were more caddies. Samantha and Thomas are great but I want more, especially Zhang Lu.Show lessWordsWurdzBurg
