Excellent amount of potential, but needs some improvement
I love this app. It’s beautiful beyond words and being that I’m taking a lot of challenging classes in school, this is a good way for me to use my right side brain whenever I need to take a break. Another phenomenal quality is that I’ve never experienced any crashing, which is great!
However, like all apps, there are plenty of flaws.
Really the only grievance I have is ads. Reading other reviews, I can tell that I’m not the only one who notices this. Whenever I choose a picture to paint, I have to watch an ad. Whenever I finish a picture, I have to watch an ad. Whenever I want to work on another picture and exit the one I’m working on, I have to watch an ad. There really isn’t a need for this many ads. If this is improved, this app would no doubt be 5 stars.Show lessMeghan Hamlin
The ads are not as bad as others make them out to be
I absolutely LOVE this app. The pictures are so pretty and I never knew there were so many shades of one color until I started playing this. Which is fine by me because they make to pictures beautiful. The colors are very soft just like an oil painting and the pictures are gentle looking, not loud and obnoxious with a bunch of bright colors that don’t mesh well together. If that’s your thing then that’s okay. But I prefer the calm soft palette and pictures of this app.
As for the ads, it is true that ads pop up at the start of the picture and at the end, but after about 3-5 seconds you have the potion to skip it. It’s also true that another ad pops up if you exit the game for any amount of time, but it gives you the option to choose not to watch the ad. If you watch the ads then you earn 3 hints. A tiny stopwatch thing will pop up off and on giving you the choice to watch an ad for 3 extra hints. If you tap in by accident, you can close the ad you just won’t get the hints. You can pay the $9.99 to get the ads to stop completely but you don’t have to. Really, with the option to close the ad after a few seconds it is not that bad.
All in all this is the BEST free app I have ever played. You get so many pictures to choose from for free and each picture you complete earns you coins that you can “cash in” for special pictures. I absolutely love this app and the developers have done a fantastic job.Show lessCJlove1981
Definitely the best Paint by numbers app!
Very good choice of subjects, quality is good enough to have printed and it’s quite satisfying to do without all of the mess from doing actual painting by numbers! Quality of converted photos is OK, I’ve had a few interesting comments about some of mine!D_W_1

I have had this app for a long time. I love the pictures. I like the fact that now you can watch adds to gain coins that will allow you to trade them in for a selection or pictures. The app has had other improvements as well. It has been my favorite. However, I do not spend money on these games. I’m on a fixed income and can’t afford it. That being said I have ordered things I need from the adds. Tonight my app is stuck on having to make a purchase. I can’t get it to go back to coloring. I tried to go to help on the app website but it just has one page and goes nowhere. There is no way to ask a question. I have no idea what’s wrong, but if it stays that way I will delete the app. I will not be forced into buying anything. I will see if I can get help with this. Stunning Paintings
Tried the free version first and was totally impressed with the quality of the finished paintings, they look so realistic. Bought the Pro version and can honestly say it is well worth the money. Had so much fun doing these paintings had loads of comments on the completed pictures and can’t wait to start the next one, so much choice. Keep em coming, would give it 10 stars if I could.Show lessPam23

Hi my name is Wendy I’m in a wheelchair and love your pictures all the animals people waterfalls but my favourite are American Indians and I’m wondering if you are able to put more Indian pictures you have a few but you don’t seem to have that many so it would be great to see some more pictures of American Indians thank youShow lesswen 57
Unbelievable response
I gave this tame a 1 star review once before. I was forced to purchase the game to avoid the numerous ads, but then I had to change devices and now suddenly they want me to pay again. My purchase will not restore. I put this out there and got a response and I’m absolutely appalled by it. “We’ll take your concern into consideration and we may address it in the future”! Consideration??? MAY address it in the future??? I looked at your terms & conditions and you’ve strategically left out what you’ll do if someone needs to restore their purchases. You people are nothing more than greedy and it’s just plain wrong what you’re doing! Again, it’s WRONG, UNETHICAL, and YOU’RE STEALING! Outside of the fact that so many people have complained about the amount of ads that stop the game during a 5 minute period, making it the #1 complaint, this is a very close 2nd for amount of complaints. I won’t even open the game any longer. When I do, it’s only to see if you actually took into consideration and allowed me to restore the purchase I clearly already paid for.
Just another stupid Chinese app developed by people who will never care about anyone but themselves. I’m deleting the app... it’s not worth it.Show lessmotowncali

This has to be the best colouring app out. Great pics, and the option to use your own photos is great. I don’t have a problem with too many ads. Believe me, I’ve seen a lot worse.kathiebee

AD Button
Nice game except for one thing. An Ad button that you have to play dodgems with every 20 seconds or so.
It comes up on the left hand side just as you are filling in a Color and it’s so quick you find yourself having to face another Ad before you can get back to fill in that color. Very very annoying.
If the operators get rid of that button I would give it a 5 star rating.Show lesspaperclip46
