  • Didn’t mean to buy this and it won’t start

It happened so fast I don’t know how I clicked it and bought it on accident but it happened. I figured I’d make the best of it but when I start it just loads a couple developer screens and then a grey icon of a person on a cart on a white screen and it never changes.
  • Amazing

The graphics on this game are amazing and the different characters and art is so incredible. The only thing that could be improved upon is a little bit more of diverse gameplay such as different game modes instead of always riding the car. But overall this game is amazing and fun to watch and play. Would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a beautiful game with fun gameplay. Can’t wait to see if there is a sequel.

  • Won’t load.

I have an IPhone 6s Plus. There’s no reason why this game won’t work. Paid 5 bucks for nothing
  • Fun so far but freezes at forest music game and unable to continue

Game was running fine and fun until the forest firefly sequence. It’s frozen twice at the fourth jar and I’m unable to continue. Playing on iPad Pro 10.1 first gen, latest iOS. Please fix and I’ll revise review
  • Fun and funny

I know a lot of the complaints are about the randomness of the tools, but I don’t mind it so much, even if it does get a little frustrating at times. You CAN progress, just have patience.
I find this game relaxing, compared to most of the games I play. It’s funny, and the sound effects are super cute. I have no trouble with game play on either my iPad Pro, or my iPhone 11, although occasionally it seems to not register my touch on the phone, but I suspect that’s an iPhone issue.
Definitely not a game for people who want to win after just a few tries.

  • Horrible Controls

The way the developer makes the abilities (ram, jump, rocket) random is ridiculous. You have to spend your coins on way more things. You waste way more time because of the way the developer made it. NOT because you don’t know which buttons to hit. It’s unfair how that is. And it feels cheap. Most developers know that.
Apple really should allow a 30 minute window or so to get a refund.

  • Cool pixel art, not fun

I gotta say the pixel art is beautiful, but the gameplay is just lame and not enjoyable. It’s already redundant and frustrating after only a few rounds. This seems more like a $0.99 game maybe a $1.99 game, but def not a $3.99 game. And why can’t I switch the power ups more than once? It literally gives you zero opportunity to succeed, eventually (and usually not very far into the round) your stuck without the option you need to overcome the obstacle, even tho it’s in your inventory but the game just doesn’t let you use it

    Developer Response

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback about Summer Catchers. If you are having difficulty with the obstacles, there are different difficulty settings in the Options menu that might help you progress further in the game, as lowering the difficulty turns down the frequency of obstacles. Hope this helps. Thanks so much for playing!
  • Patience.

    It’s really good.

Update: This game is a work of art in both sound and pixel art. The game play is simple and does have a factor of luck involved. Just keep at it and the magic of the game opens up when you start to make progress. It’s not for people who expect to win a game in 20 minutes.
  • Unique, beautiful, fun!

I was pleasantly surprised by how Summer Catchers turned out after much anticipation for its release. It’s so much different than I expected but in a very good way. The more I play, the more I grow to love everything about it. Just started on the second area and am getting used to how the power-ups work. Excellent job, highly recommended!

  • Tough but good!

It’s a beautiful game, and I’m enjoying the gameplay loop! It’s definitely not easy, especially the crow fight; but I think being able to swipe more than one time on the tools would reslly benefit the game. It would make the game feel a little less luck based, and a little more strategic. Keep up the great work though!!
