  • Love the game…now…😉

All of my one-time complaints (below) were fixed fairly soon & it has been wonderful ever since! Thank you G5! Now…🙄😂😂😂

When changes are made, sure would like to know about them, either at the time of update or right before. This last update, that started the new challenge, was a total wipeout! It had weird flags on all the playing areas, none of which worked. You couldn’t get into them. The next day, they finally worked. Now we’ve lost our ability to send requests to our friends. Why??!! When I wanted to contact you to ask what was going on & for how long, the ONLY way was to fill out a million question page about my device technicals, none of which I know! I use an iPad. That’s the limit of my knowledge. So you’re getting my questions here…sigh… And I do expect a reply of some kind. I’ve spent a fortune with you so I know you can contact me. Please do!!

  • Fun! Handsome! Good old memories? Just slow down the hints😬

This is a beautifully illustrated and fun game that uses your wits as creative match-3 puzzles get harder as do object searches as you go through levels and treasured books’ worlds. But the hints at the bottom of the screen before and/or after each round flash too fast to read them🤨…. If you either slowed them down or let a player tap to proceed, the game would be less stressful and more fun.
I’m really enjoying the beauty, detail and imagination of the scenes, characters and objects, and the range of cultures and history and good sense and values of imagination and exploration woven through the characters and their book lives interacting.
I would give this game a solid 5 IF they would fix whatever they did that blocks me from entering any chat or even logging into the game and giving myself a name….any typing I do except an emoji won’t show up on my iPad 4th generation screen in the game🤨!

  • Love the game but,

Good day, I have been playing this game only a short period so far. I really love and enjoy the game but it has some things that could definitely change. My #1 complaint is the arrows in the scenes. They are a constant distraction and neurological irritation! I have survived a number of TBI’s (traumatic brain injuries) as well as 4 strokes. I also have a scar on my right eye. I can understand offering the occasional reminders to YOUNG players, but give adults the option to turn them OFF in settings! They are very bothersome and after 30 minutes of playing I find it getting more and more difficult to focus due to headaches and strain on my right eye. Directly linked to the very irritating flashing arrow hints. I really love the variety of scenes and some being more difficult than others, but there is definitely improvements that can be made for accessibility players. Blessed be to all and I hope customer service will adopt these suggestions. I would hate to have to stop playing another enjoyable game because of straightforward adjustments not being made.

  • Pretty good game...but, don't ask for a review when your players have barely played the game!

Game isn't too bad. I haven't found too much that I don't like except when I'm more or less forced to writing a review too early on in the game. Right now, it's way too early for me to gauge whether or not I really like this game. I really don't like it when a game not only forces you to rate their game, but to also give an in depth review without having experienced every bit of the game! Ask me again in a few weeks, once I have a routine down! If you want feedback about the game right this second about the game, ask relevant questions related to what the user has experienced thus far, not an in-depth, we're going to publish this in the App Store kind of review! I absolutely hate it when game devs do this! Let your players have some time with the game! Think about your past experiences with games you've purchased. Wouldn't you rather have been asked questions about your gaming experience AFTER you finished the game and not in-between levels, or at the beginning? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

We appreciate your suggestion regarding relevant questions and will take it into consideration for future updates. We hope you will continue to enjoy the game and thank you for your support.
  • Stimulating

Love this game…a few things I would change…give more “tools,” be consistent (My husband plays this game as well, and he gets a chance to earn gems everyday, but I don’t. The icon does not appear on my screen for some reason.), and allow people to earn gems. Lastly, I think when you don’t have enough energy and/or special item to play the special book or the other books, then it should not revert you to them. Too much time is wasted on going through each book to see if you have enough energy; I suggest only the books you can go into based on your energy and special item should glow, everything else should gray out.

I love the game but it’s to expensive and every item cost rubies I have almost 800,000 coins and you can’t buy anything you need to play if you go back I have spent a lot of money on Your game but really getting tired of the rubies disappearing I bought 400 yesterday and woke up with 24 I had to leave so I didn’t use them . So I feel like you guys are taking advantage of people and making it almost impossible to play without buying the rubies , it’s sad because I love this game if I didn’t I wouldn’t be on level 102 ,but I think I’m gonna have to delete it unless something is done and it’s made right . I’m sure its probably no lose to you to lose 1 out of millions of people Ty for your time

  • Unique storyline & nice graphics

This game is very similar to G5’s Hidden City game in some ways such quests and events. If you like Sherlock Holmes & classic stories like Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz & etc; then you should like this game which combines both. The artwork & the game isn't too childish for adults or seniors and graphics are almost as realistic as in Hidden City. For fun, you can feed the cat who gives a tool as a reward. Players have a choice of playing a hidden object scene or match 3 game which is nice. Tools can be hard to get when playing free. However, players are discouraged from buying pricey tools as many tools are lost when timer cuts the scene off as all scenes are timed. A tool for unscrambling is badly needed as one can’t descramble words they are unfamiliar with. Compass tool needs to be improved as it doesn’t work well around the edges of scenes nor zoom in close enough. Zoom needs to go in more as most players are on mobile devices. Please improve profile so full date of birth is optional so that players may omit the day and/or month of birth for privacy & fraud protection.

  • Sherlock Holmes

I really like the game, I like doing the investigation part and also the match 3 section both keep me interested it really helps improve my intuitive and observation skills. The game is enjoyable I hope you keep making more Sherlock Holmes games and more investigation games like this. Thank you, Ken In the Sherlock Holmes game why do you have us watch the videos to get free gems(rewards) and after we watch and then press the x up in the right hand corner to exit no reward is granted. This is something you better lock in to, it’s really annoying and frustrating. Thank you, Ken Also when you’re investigating a scene and you make a wrong pick you take 5 seconds off the investigating time that’s not fair you cause the player to make rush decisions. In a real life investigation that wouldn’t happen. I’ve talked to people who’ve played the game and got frustrated with their investigating time being shortened they quit playing the game. Something you might to think about. When you have the investigation part of the books in the Sherlock Holmes game you keep the same type of investigative series on there too long, keep the investigative series for a certain length of time, keeping it on there too long it becomes boring, you need a new investigative scene.

  • Enjoyable Game

I’ve seen the issue of limited use of collected coins mentioned in other reviews and I too would like to be able to use collected coins to purchase gems; since gems are the only currency that can be used to purchase most of the tools desirable to play the games. It would also be nice to be able to select out of a prescribed game mode. “Spot the Difference” mode seems to be overused and really isn’t in the “spirit” of hidden objects. Even if bypassing “spot the difference” yields less rewards. Love interacting with Faustus…should consider offering an app for a virtual pet…including the mannerisms of Faustus but could offer more options and be separate from a game…select the breed, etc.
