Worst app ever
I had high hopes for the $499 dash cam and related app. The dash cam itself isn’t too bad but the app is absolutely terrible. First 2 days the whole app froze whenever trying to connect or view the camera vision. Eventually uninstalled and re-installed the app. Finally works but for only a few seconds then freezes again. Extremely disappointed

Dash view cam app
It does work, connect and toggle WiFi to dash network to view camera in app. Back to cellular network when done viewing. So long as the red light is flashing you’re recording, no issue (so far) with playback on SD card. Haven’t tried parking mode at this stage.
Works amazingly
Ignore the people leaving bad reviews, they just don't know how to follow instructions, it clearly saysnin the app to turn off mobile data to access the camera's info, you are able to get a live preview of what the camera can see, as well as downloading recordings too!
Dash View 50/50R
The app connects ok but doesn’t allow me to do anything. Cant mute audio, download footage, switch to front or rear camera. It’s useless really. What is the point of the app if it doesn’t work? I have an iPhone 14 so it’s not like it’s an old phone issue. Please fix the app and update the firmware. :(

Doesn’t work.
Bought a brand new iGo 45R and despite the user manual instructing to download and connect to this Dash View app, it simply won’t. There are no support articles available online either. Would rate 0 stars if I could. - And I’ll be returning the hardware to the store as well.
Not able to access recording
The app does not work, the loading symbol shows up and stays loading and the app never works, therefore i cant access any recording, an accident happened to me and i couldn’t get the recording and had to pay for the damage when i was not at fault.
Issues with the app
Downloaded the app, connected however unable to do anything with the app once I select my dash camera. Can’t change any settings, can’t stop the recording, can’t do anything. Have deleted the app, reinstalled, tried hot spotting of another phone. Unsure why and I have followed the manual to the letter.

App crashes when user tries to open settings
Connecting was not a problem but trying to open the settings menu proved impossible. Every time I tap on settings the whole app crashes. Maybe the ‘gear’ icon means exit program?? Anyway, obviously something was lost in translation when Uniden received this app from the app developer in that big red country to our North…

Useless
This APP is absolutely useless. Can never connect to the camera and when it does the app 10/10 crashes and can never access the footage. In combination with the dash camera it is pointless having a dash camera if you can’t access any of the footage either.
For such a large well known company, something needs to be done ASAP to improve their cameras and their app.

Rubbish
Have had a dash view for months and have spoken to uniden customer service multiple times as I cannot view any footage from
My phone. Each time I am told to reset the dashcam, or reinstall the app, they even replaced the dashcam at one stage. Constantly battling trying to get a live view on my phone. So disappointing.
