An expensive mistake
I have spent a lot of money for this dash cam setup and it is useless because the app doesn’t work. It will not connect to the unit’s network. I took it back to the business who supplied and installed it and they couldn’t help. How about a refund so I can buy something that works, or you fix it.
Absolutely USELESS
This app simply doesn’t work. No ifs, no buts, no maybe!. It’s just total rubbish and it serves as much point as trying to connect to Candy Crush.
How this could have even been released is beyond words. If I had been aware of just how pointless this was I wouldn’t have bought a Uniden Dash Cam. Do not bother fixing it, just remove and start again!!… woeful.

Only worked once
App doesn’t work it keeps saying it’s failed. I have no access to the videos or pictures. Very disappointing for price paid. When will update to fix problem happen. Continually says loading once connected. Very poor and no support.
Uploading doesn’t work
Every time I try to connect to dash view using the app on my phone the uploading doesn’t work, the spinning wheel keeps spinning. I keep trying disconnecting and reconnecting and I do wait for 3mins then try again. Only way to obtain footage is to pull out the sd card and pop in to a computer which defeats the purpose of a wifi device!! Waste of money.
It also randomly doesn’t record for days at a time and I don’t know I till I need the footage that isn’t there!

The Load symbol in the App just continues to spin indefinitely
I have no access to the recordings and/or access to the live view through this app because the load symbol continues to spin which renders the app useless. Please fix these bugs, give your users a firmware update or something. If I have a car accident I will need reliable access to this app. Please fix.

Just functional
The app itself is functional, as in it delivers just what needs to be done.
It doesn’t take long to save the videos.
The items you see on the camera are categorised in the same way they are in the app after downloading.
The UI is NOT user friendly at all which is what needs improvement.

Very poor app for a good camera
So I have had to work this out on my own via trial and error. Tip for anyone using. If your on iOS and connected to camera with WIFi then your phone says “keep using wifi or change to data” (cause wifi your on can’t connect to internet) Do Not choose data, choose keep on wifi. If you choose data, the app basically drops out and you can’t do much as it basically freezes. If you keep on wifi the app works for most part as intended. Also change your wifi password!! If you don’t anyone who is outside your car could join and based on SSID name Google model and enter the default pwd and access your recordings. App still could be designed better, is slow at times.
