Needs improvement on the app (workout mode)

You guys definitely need to work on the workout mode it’s totally bugged heart rate monitor is bad on workout mode it disconnects often even though I am right next to my phone other than that it’s not bad please do work on that

Has potential but not there yet

I got this to test glucose monitoring. It graphs nicely and the features are good but once of the features that could be really helpful is only half way thought out. It’s like the devs put in food tracking and then never actually used it themselves. There is no way to edit the existing food options or create new ones. So you’re stuck picking things that are inaccurate in an attempt to approximate what you ate. I have no interest in wearing a ring, and the Apple Watch has more than enough data for me. I only need the glucose monitoring mapped to the food intake to try and figure out how these things affect me. Hopefully they fix this. It would be completely usable for me for me then.

Too Many Notifications

There HAS to be a way to minimize the amount of useless notifications this app puts out. I don’t need or want 5-8 notifications per hour telling me things I don’t need to know or already know because I’ve looked at the app already. The ‘way to go’ notifications, or the check in with the app notifications are entirely unnecessary and occur far too frequently. I enjoy the ring and find the data in the app to be useful but this constant pinging with useless messages is just going to cause me to disable notifications altogether and negate the purpose of having it in the first place. Would definitely give a higher rating were it not for the annoyance.

Ring is glitchy, app is glitchy, support is terrible.

I have had so many issues with my ring. Support is a chat feature and they are all managing multiple chats at once so it can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 days before they get back to you. Even the smallest issues take days. They don’t automatically send firmware updates. You have to ask for them. You can check if there is an update and the app will say you’re up to date, but then a service agent will push one just to you. It’s frustrating. I don’t have time to keep the chat app open for hours to days waiting for one reply.

Also, I got the aster black. The finish is already coming off. It looks terrible.

So close to being perfect!

They email me giving me insights into my habits. BUT THEY DONT KNOW MY HABITS BECAUSE I CANNOT TELL THEM MY WALKING HABITS!! So annoying!! “This indicates the number of steps you've taken and how they compare to your usual routine.” Absolutely does not!! Not true!!!

I don’t expect it to be able to track my steps when my hands are still. But let me tell you! My treadmill counts steps! I can help! Let me help you!!

Also, radio silence on if they’re adding this feature. Just dodging the question or saying they’ll “pass it along”. It’s a glorified sleep tracker and an overpriced activity/workout tracker for now.

This app and ring is so useful and so insightful.
HOWEVER, it will never accurately measure and record my movement data! I walk on a treadmill every day and the ring does not count those steps! Apple health lets me “add data” to my steps but Ultrahuman does not read it. Ultrahuman also does not give me the ability to add data to the step counter!! My movement data is always skewed and I cannot utilize half the app because it thinks I’m sedentary.

PLEASE GIVE US THE ABILITY TO ADD STEP DATA EACH DAY!!!

Some days good, other days bad

I like being able to see the data and stats. It gets me to move and see how many steps I do each day. I get to see how I slept and make improvements to sleep better and feel better the next day. For the last two weeks though, the battery has been garbage. Every other day I need to charge it to full and then it’s down to 0% the next day. I always have my ring in power save mode since the feature was available too but I would imagine I would be charging daily if I didn’t have it in power saving mode. Prior to the recent updates, the battery lasted 3-4 days so whatever has been done, it’s draining the battery. I’ve had this ring since March and this is the only complaint I have had since getting it. The app is updated regularly so hopefully a new update fixes the battery life.

Battery use?

I love the ring and the app is pretty good. But why is this using so much battery? over 24 hours, the app is using similar amount of battery as an hour of streaming movies it's also responsible for 92% of my battery use throughout the night. iPhones have spectacular battery life but even with that I noticed a hit when i started to use this. What are you doing?

Truly made tracking glucose easier .. the app educate you and gives you so many tips to make changes that are doable to you! I think this is the healthiest i have been in my entire life.

Outstanding support

Had a slight problem with my ring and used the chat support. Within 24 hours a new ring was on its way by DHL Courier. There would not be any better customer support that I have experienced.
