  • In a class of its own

    Mercury has reinvented banking with their ultra slick product. They’ve removed all the friction and make getting things done easy and efficient. A stark contrast to my CapitalOne personal account which is an overly complicated and confused mess which is always getting it my way with the inescapable advertising and up selling of other services.

  • I regret it all

    As others said the on boarding experience is painful to say the least. After finally getting my account setup and scanning my first check an alert pops up telling me it will take 5-7 business days. The check didn’t appear in PENDING until ten days later. Two days later it finally posts to my balance but less than 24 hours later my account is locked when I open the app with a message telling me for help email them. There is no contact number or chat, and before this happened I’ve already emailed 4 times and only received one response that did not address my issues. To top things off debit card still hasn’t arrived and I feel like my money is being held hostage. In comparison I went to a local bank and had an account setup in a day and was given a debit card SAME DAY. I wish I had never put my money into this institution that can’t even respond to emails which is their only form of contact.

  • Their customer service is terrible

    I’ve been waiting for 7 days and got just one answer about asking more information of my transaction. Nobody answers after and it’s impossible to reach out to their customer service. Unbelievable.

    No complaints in the last 6 months of using
  • Limited use

    Without the ability to transfer money from/to outside accounts, this app becomes kinda useless. It’s a shame because that function would make this a 4-5 star app otherwise. Please fix the app so it has the same functionality as the web site.
  • Great app and company

    Mercury is my favorite. Easy to use and great functionality.
  • Don’t bother

    If you’re looking for a bank for your 21st century tech start up, don’t bother with Mercury. They rejected my application with no explanation and without even calling to have a conversation with me about my new business. This was after I had provided all of the info they had requested, including a picture of my drivers license and the organizational documents issued by my Secretary of State. So they have all of my personal and business information, and I bet they will sell it. I’ll be looking for a bank that is actually on the cutting-edge instead of pretending to be. I’d avoid them if I were you.

  • I regret switching to this bank

    I just switched over all my business accounts and I regret it. Customer service is slow to respond and I feel like they are holding my money hostage because they won’t increase my transfer limit (even in!). Also lots of places (like PayPal and my current local bank) don’t recognize them as a bank so it’s been a hot mess doing external transfers/getting bills switched over to them. I wish I had gone with a different bank.

  • Takes too long to open an account

    I filed an application 4 days ago and have heard back from the bank, no phone support, the only way you can contact is an email. Disappointed and regret it to open a business account with Mercury.
  • Great Service - App Limitations

    As noted by other users, the app itself is fantastic and reliable however it lacks some of the features on the web-based client.

    Adding support for these features on mobile would easily make this a 5 star experience.
