  • Very very very useful!

I got so hooked on managing my finances with this app it’s scary! Now I know whenever a dime is missing from my pocket, and sit to search why is that money missing or why there’s extra money! It’s very useful!
It’s got a couple bugs, yet to be solved, like sometimes the balance that shows outside of the sheets it’s not the same as the one showing inside, so you have to add an expense for it to recalculate and then you can go ahead and delete the expense, It’s a minor bug but I bet it will go away with time!

  • Not Useful For Budgeting

While it was free to downlaod it provides no real function for actual budgeting. It's easy to input information and I like how it doesn't require any connection to my bank account.

However, that is the only good. Once expenses and income are put in each day is its own day and account balances don't carry over from day to day. There is no way to organize, or view monthly or weekly balances.

Honestly I can create somthing better then this on excell. If you want a free budget tool that doesn't provide any use then this is great. If you actually want to be able to view running balances to be able to actually budget then don't use this one.

Thank you for the feedback! Account balances will carry over from day to day in a sheet and there is a way to view monthly or weekly balances via Stats. Please let us know if you have any concrete suggestions. We're willing to improve the app for better budgeting.
  • Absolute gem of an app and developer

I was very happy and surprised to find this app. It's simplicity and elegant design and functionality are really refreshing in today's sea of "do everything for everyone" apps. I love that it does not have a subscription nor does it collect any user data. I'm able to use it with my wife via the iCloud syncing and keep our shared finances synced up. There is one feature which is missing from the app (in my opinion) and I reached out to the dev to ask about his thoughts on it. To my delight, he responded and took the time to listen to be my feedback about the potential feature. While he did not commit to added the feature, the app has enough going for it that I happily purchased the full version. I'm excited to see how this app progresses. I can only hope it stays simple and easy, going forward.

  • Expenses

Early days however so far it is good for capturing all expenditure and being able to sort it into categories.
  • Simple and Effective

Lots to commend. Well designed, works wonderfully, simple and still powerful. This isnt a full-featured budget app, but does allow you to work within a budget-friendly context and track both expenses and income. It has the look and feel of a native Apple app and isn't intrustive or dominating in its functionality. Great tools, good support, simple and beautiful.

  • Great app

Thank you for this great app. It is almost perfect for my daily usage.

I hope I am not stepping out of my way, but I would like to make a few suggestions that would make me move my stars rating from 4 to 5:

1- Adding the sheets to custom categories (i.e. "my custom home stuff"). Currently, the only way to split the sheets is to use "pinned" or "archived". It would be great to see my sheets split into custom categories.

2- Adding a note section within the sheet.

3- Adding an extra tab in the sheet statistics to see both expenses AND incomes altogether (this would help determine the actual percentages of income over expenses for example).

4- Adding the income total next to the already displayed expenses total under the sheet name in the menu tab.

5- Allowing to sort the sheets order with drag-and-drop rather than ordering my date or name (which does not work btw).

Thank you for all the suggestions. We'll definitely consider making the changes.
  • Simple and exactly what I needed

This expenses tracking app is super simple and straight forward to use. It is exactly what I was looking for. Also, it syncs via icloud with your Mac and iOS device. Great!
  • Suggestion

Using a cursor to drag down the archive of my sheet is becoming more difficult as the list grows longer. Is it possible to add a function that allows us to "touch" the cursor in some neutral zone on the sheet and then use our up/down arrows to scroll and move? Also, if the solution is to begin a new sheet each year, would it be possible to merge those sheets for purposes of comparing spending habits from year to year and looking at spending categories across all years from more than one sheet? Thank you.

Thank you for the suggestion. If it's difficult to scroll down sheets, you could use a search function as well. We'll try to improve this experience. Regarding merging sheets, unfortunately, we don't have the function at the moment. If we get many requests, we'll consider it. For now, we recommend that you could use a single sheet throughout a year so that you can compare some data year by year using statistics.
  • Nice, simple, effective - but one major flaw for me

Fantastic app. I love it and wanted to use it

BUT, I want to be able to forecast my spendings based on future payments and upcoming repeated payments. I.e., next to the 2021 year summary, I want to see the 2022 summary based on what I’ve input so that I can budget for it.

I can see that the upcoming payments have their own section. I’d love to see the option to see the statistic for them!!

Please add this soon so that I can use this app exclusively. I am currently trying a few to see which enable me to. This app is the best but is lacking this feature.

In summary, great app, but for me, it requires statistics/summary of future expenses.

    Thank you !

  • It does what you need it to

I use it to track my discretionary monthly spending. I need to keep myself within a tighter budget and this helps out considerably. I can't recommend it enough as it syncs across all your devices.
