Absoutley Horrible. Crashes constantly. Sometimes it will unlock, somethimes it will not and I PAID to use this app

Turns out you have to pay to unlock anything, and that is if you can keep the app window open long enough. Crashed on me (multiple times) before I could even read the subscription details. I recommend not bothering.

hello 0000bean. You don´t have to pay to use any of the 19 free effects, foerver. Maybe you missed you can select the effects at the top-left selector? And yes, if you want to tweak the filters you do have to pay (we do need to pay bills, after all, I hope you can understand that). Sorry for the crashes, SDFX is a work in progress and we´re aware some Macs crash with out app, unfortunately its not easy to fix as it works fine for us, but eventually we will fix the issue am sure. Anyway, thanks for bothering trying the app, and have fun!

Solid filters, poor functionality

It does what it promises but occasionally crashes. I could recommend a lot to improve the app, but first they have to figure out how to keep me logged in... I pay $3/month and every time I open the app I have to "unlock all features" and there's no clear way to sign in... I have to hope the app I pay for works when I open it

hi Manoli, thanks for the message! SDFX is a work in progress and we're working to fix all the issues--we know there are things to improve, and we're working in it. To sign in, go to 'File-->Sign in'. Once signed in you shouldn't have to restore purchases everytime... please contact us at contact@sdfx.app if you've more issues. thanks!

pretty good

The dozen or so free pre-sets are pretty good. The free version of this provides the best effects of all free apps I've tried. Can't say anything about premium settings as I haven't used them

Two thumbs down

It’s slow and I can’t get my pictures to add, nor does the upgrade ever appear. It’s a no for me.

Disappointing

It says In-App purchase of 3,99CAD, but it is actually a SUBSCRIPTION ONLY, you cannot buy the app. You are forced to pay forever... What a shame as it looked amazing. Would pay good money for quality software, but you can't with this one.

Great start. Much work needed

Some nice vector styles. But really disappointed it specifies vector but does not export in .SVC. I use the developers style transfer website all the time. I would like to encourage them to PLEASE add a one time unlock price for all the features. i'm an artist, not a graphic designer and I don't do this for a living. So I need to budget. I would rather pay a high price, then to have to always worry about subscriptions. Kindly consider.

+A useful feature would be to allow the person to go back in and reuse the same picture. Once I save the picture once, it doesn't let me back in.
+Also, when it pulls up your photos, please add albums to choose from. It's too difficult to scroll back through thousands of pictures.
+After creating your art, if you go back in to the main thread and try to receive your art, the app crashes.
+ please list your styles maybe by pulling them from the side. It's too arduous do you have to scroll to get to the ones at the end.

Updating my previous review

Has multiple very good effects but most functionality requires $3/mo suscription. Watermarks all my images in lower right corner.

Mac version has very heavy memory requirements. Will run on my 64GB iMac Pro -- but not on my 16GB MBP.

hello! SDFX requires 16gb of RAM or a dedicated GPU, as stated in the description. If your Mac doesn't meet the requirements then it may crash. Please contact us at contact@sdfx.app if your Mac meets the requirements and crashed for you, it will help us!
