Horrible unit and app

My god the best fix for this unit would be a hammer. It is by far the worst most inaccurate piece of garbage I have ever bought. Soooo many false positives. It sounds the alarm for absolutely nothing at all hours of the day or night. If you bought one of these I implore you to return it right away. Otherwise you will be frustrated beyond belief at how bad this is and how many times it will annoy you for nothing at all. Stay far away from this

Latest update broke the app

App used to work just fine with my iPhone 14 Pro but since latest app update, no activities gets recorded at all in the app sine June 5th… alerts (phone calls, text and in app notifications) still works but no graphics or history in the app at all

Recent update didn’t fix the bugs

Bar graph jumps from 3 am to 8 pm. Used to seamless and worked great but for the last couple of months it’s been like this. Please fix

Smart faucet

Bought a beautiful all black kitchen faucet with smart features, finally got around to downloading the app and I cannot get past the “adding a device” portion because the app has some kind of bug at the “nickname“ screen that gives continual errors. A simple nickname screen is now hanging me up from completing the addition of the device and I can’t move on to pair it and use the features. So disappointing that the features we paid for are not operational. Attempted to call customer service but haven’t gotten through yet. When paying $1000 for high end products there is an expectation they would be functional and not need troubleshooting and hours of frustration to get working.

bar chart messed up

The data recorded correctly below the bar chart, but the data are not shown correctly on the bar chart, its jumped to 8pm right from 7am. Please fix

Water shutoff learning problem

I have a Moen Flo water shutoff device and using this app. It is supposed to categorize the water usage, and if it gets something wrong, it allows you to classify it correctly.

I have a reverse osmosis water filter that flushes itself every few hours. It runs for the same amount of time and uses the same amount of water, so I wouldn’t think it wouldn’t be too difficult to recognize this water usage footprint. However, it continues to classify them as faucet usage even after going in every day and changing them to “water filter”. It claims to use machine learning, but it is failing at learning this.

Also, I have all notifications enabled for push notifications, but have never received a push notification to my phone, so those appear to be broken as it should be sending me a notification several times a day when the health test runs. It does show under alerts in the app, but no push notification.

Updates based on your feedback can take as long as 7 days but be assured that the feedback is on its way and will be automatically updated. Please confirm your phone number is listed correctly in the Moen Smart Water app under Settings > Account > Phone Number. Moen acquired Sprinkl and app quality took a nose dive

Had to transition to Moen post Sprinkl acquisition. I have had nonstop issues with the Moen app since then. The app would glitch out and fail to retrieve weather data or the data would be delayed.

It is obvious Moen outsourced app development to the cheapest development agency out there. As a developer myself, it is literally impossible to work out all the bugs without a complete app rewrite. Till then, I would avoid Moen smart products at all costs.

Not as good as Sprinkl

We got switched over to Moen after they bought out Sprinkl. Sprinkl was everything we were looking for in a smart irrigation controller but Moen is not. We lost a lot of functionality especially with schedules. It’s still very buggy and the schedule and manual runs will error out. The only positive I can say is I like the flow information but that positive hasn’t put weighed the negatives.

Needs work

Ease of use is not there when scheduling sprinkler zones. Have had to rebuild schedules several times. Appropriate saves are not in the screen nor do they always function when used. Updating out of a full build is a pain. And today I confirmed the app has a different understanding of odd and even days than the date.

Got the latest update e which was response to last feedback. Not sure why it does not update automatically or at least notify when one is available.

Disabled schedule to prevent auto run of system. However now not available for a manual start.

Won’t connect to Google Home

App will not connect to google home when authenticating using google sign in. Works with start to connects and then says “something went wrong”.
