This app is just perfect. The amount of information and quality of the data is just incredible. A must for anyone with any interest in geological time.

This app isn’t bad for the timescale part, but the map says nothing about the bed rock. There are better apps out there

Sorry that the map wasn't useful for you; the primary purpose of this app is for the current time scale and formerly used time units. If you're looking for a full-featured geologic map app, check out Mancos, Rock'd, or Flyover Country.
Modern app for the timescale
Finally someone made a timescale app that works with modern iPhones and iOS! Hope it stays updated and continues to be developed.
