Epic Fail

The Tekmar Connect app that this new app replaces was an all-around disappointment, so I expected this launch to be at the very least a slight improvement. I can’t believe they could do a WORSE job than before, but that’s exactly what happened. Not only are the major flaws unaddressed, two of my three thermostats fail to register. I’m told that this additional problem will be fixed in a week. Suggestion: fire the entire dev team and hire competent professionals. This is ridiculous.

No Thanks

I had the SunTouch thermostat at my old home. I sold my house and moved. I downloaded the new version to see if I needed to disconnect my account so the new owner could have it. But Watts is forcing me to use Microsoft Online to set up an account. I’m not going there. If I were making a recommendation I’d tell everyone to by a Mysa.

Not working

Please make sure you app is ready before you push it out. It might be more broken then the old one which was archaic. Why are you requesting people to log in through Microsoft single sign in? Please fix.

Says my devices are unreachable

The old app would never stay logged in so I had high hopes for the new one.

The new one forced me to reset my password which was confusing but after that I can log in and see my devices. However they all show an incorrect temperature which I assume is some default state, and if I tap on them the app says device is offline or unreachable.

The same 4 thermostats show up correctly in the old app so I know they're not actually offline.

Also this app uses screen space on my iPhone X inefficiently. The room titles are clipped far shorter than they need to be.

Supposed to be an upgrade

This app could not even find the device that was in fact active on my network. Not any smarter.
