The app was better when it was fully accessible with voiceover for iOs.
It has been several months since I last started writing this review and no Accessibility improvements have been made to fix the problem with VoiceOver, I have seen most of my friends on Clubhouse leave the app because of the changes to the new interface to the point where VoiceOver can’t read the interface because there is no text accompanying the button it is just a button on screen and Screen recognition with VoiceOver has to be enabled in order to navigate the app, I think that is highly unacceptable and something needs to be done about it I have been using Clubhouse for over a year or two, I am very disappointed with the app, not being accessible because voiceover is not able to read certain buttons due to the layout change in the app from an interface where voiceover was able to fully read the app without issues to an interface where voiceover only reads most of the application without issues and in the room most every button except one or two buttons is announced as button. I honestly think it is a waste of time to keep updating the app if accessibility for people who are blind and visually impaired is going to get broken every time there is a new update that adds more new features.Show lessJaws 2018
Glitches 😤
What are creators of this app are doing?! Every time I’m get ready to start a live chat with someone they don’t see it. Also when in the chat sometimes they hear me at all. Like why mess with a good. Before all these changes it was fine. But after the changes I notices glitches begore the new updates. Also I appreciate you fixing invisible thing that allow go back or forwarding in threads. But now there more issues. Please, just get it together.

happening has left me ultimately confusion & disappointment. Not only can I not listen to old private thread that I share with people. But I can’t rewind back listen! Like what’s going on?! Is that too much to ask. To be able retrieve or be able listen prior voice chat that you’ve shared. Also it tends to boot you out if you attempt to do so as well. Another why are you display the close capturing of people I had private chats with where everyone who follows me & vice versus can view or see. I almost feel violated in a sense. I prefer the old way. I feel as though this app has become more invasive than before. Less privacy than I’m use to. Please, why another updated to make even more confusing & difficult?! New Updates, step in the right direction - long road ahead.
Many people hate the new updates, I don’t. Yes, the UI isn’t perfect yet and discovery is lack luster at best BUT, they are heading in the right direction. Why 5 stars? Two reasons: 1. They are still the best in the social audio space. 2. They are innovating. | You can find me on the app as CJ DeGuara if you want to ask me about it. The product isn’t anywhere near finished and the dynamics of the App have changed. Clubhouse is now great for networking with friends of friends and for hosting quick audio conversations by bringing people from outside the app to your House. It is no longer somewhere you go to get “discovered”. The bad reviews are mostly from micro creators that are annoyed that the product is no longer as conducive for them to aggregate an audience and gain visibility. If that is what you are after; then clubhouse is a 1⭐️ app, if you value getting to know new people just outside your network and staying in touch with friends in an audio environment; if you value good conversations the App still has a lot to offer and I believe it will continue to improve for that purpose. However if you want to be discovered, other apps offer much better opportunities.Show lessCJ DeGuara
