  • Smooth experience

The only thing I would change would be a slightly better error message to distinguish between invalid credentials and not internet connection.
  • Technology is amazing !

Travelling to Canada using the App makes arriving in Australia, on return, seem almost steam driven.
An excellent and innovative use of technology making life as a tourist so much easier, and so user friendly.
    Thank you !

Very easy to navigate however was unable to insert the correct arrival time. It just kept jumping back to a fixed time which was incorrect. Margaret Marvelly
Difficult to find if you have already submitted forms.
  • Easy to use

Simple and easy to use and love being able to do it ahead of arrival
  • Poor form structure for advance declaration.

The structure of the food related questions doesn’t make sense. All I’m bringing in are some gummy lollies and vitamins, which I wouldn’t say fit into any of the agricultural categories that it asks for. However if I tick No, then it doesn’t ask me any more questions about different types of food, even though it says under additional details that you must declare all food… I only discovered that if you tick Yes to agriculture products, only then will it ask you if you are bribing any other foods. Please adjust the form so that it clearly asks you about bribing any types of food earlier.

  • Very Easy to Navigate

The ArriveCAN App is precise, quick to fill in and very easy to navigate. I highly recommend completing the App before arriving, it will ensure a much faster and more streamlined experience.
  • Arrive can

I am very surprised as it was harder to get my account set up than it was to fill it out online but it would be a easy process if you have done it before since I have not very happy it’s been done and I done it myself
  • Doens’t update

I have had to use this app since the beginning of the pandemic, and it continues to ask questions that are no longer relevant. Then when i answer honestly, I have incessant calls from immigration asking me why I am not quarantining, even though i am fully vaccinated, and boosted, and a Canadian Citizen living abroad. Also, no one asked me to see my receipt from it last time i went home, but i still got calls from Covid Canada. When i finally spoke to someone in person to explain to them that i am fully vaccinated and boosted (and that information is uploaded into the app) she said i have an old version of the app and have to download a new one. Very truly a waste of a lot of time. I understand and appreciate the need to be safe, but there is very little to no consistency on how this app is being used, and yet it is still required to enter the country.

  • Needs user error messages

This is a nice app, and pretty much required to get into Canada, but the inputs can be picky and when it won’t store/save info, there is no indication of WHY.
Entering my vaccination images, it would not accept them - changed orientation, tried closer/further away, etc- no go. Googling found a 2 Meg limit in the image size.
I was going to a hotel in Canada. Entering my destination address was ok, but wanted an apartment/room number - digits only no explanatory text.
Some feedback on bad data entries would be very useful, perhaps with explanations of the input requirements.

  • Less complex than I feared

Fairly straight forward if you have assport, travel info and Covid vaccination details to hand. A little confusing if travelling around as not allowed to state more than 1 address.
