A little hard to follow. When both a ‘save and close’ as well as a ‘forwarding arrow’ option we’re given on several screens, I didn’t know which one to press. Also, when taking a passport photo, one of my names came up incorrectly on your end, which I couldn’t edit.
  • ArriveCAN form painful and slow

Spent several days trying to fill out the ArriveCan form online without the app. Could not login; said the password was incorrect. I requested it to reset the password and gave it my email, but the process locked up at that point; never able to get an email or reset my password. Finally I found out there is an ArriveCan app and I downloaded that. No it would not let me enter in my true embarkation date, because I’m already on the ship and it won’t let me back up beyond today’s date. It also would not let me use or upload a previously scanned copy of my passport; I had to take a new picture online. When filling out my COVID-19 vaccination information, when I went to fill out the second date of vaccination; it would have been nice it’s a calendar reverted back to the date of the first vaccination, because the second vaccination supposed to happen within 30 days at the first. But again it reverted back today’s date, and I had to flip through the months to get back to last year‘s vaccination date. But I will say that I was able to get my information entered through the app; whereas I could not do it online.

  • Arrive Canada App

This is user friendly. Answer questions to correlate with flights & first destination. Great to know Canada has my details to facilitate smooth travel to connecting flight
  • ArriveCan Application:

I am one that does not enjoy filling out governmental forms on a website as there is usually some type of wall that I usually run into. Fortunately it was straight forward and went fairly well. Last August when the Canadian border was first opened we made a trip to Ontario. The successful result with ArriveCan was the same as now. Back then we had to have a molecular/PCR test within 72 hours of crossing the border. Since a blood sample had to be sent away there was a mild concern it would not be back in time. That concern combined with the hassle of having to get a physician’s order and have blood drawn made it considerably easier than in August 2021.

  • Very easy to complete and submit. I love it this App

After 2 and half year of not traveling, I decide to go to Niagara Falls. ArriveCAN helps me to enter all necessary information to avoid being delayed at the border. The developers are genius. It is easy to uploaded the proof of VAC and the passport info.
Even it gave you slot to enter the hotel to stay. Only one hotel you can enter at the time invade you want to switch hotel with your stay in Canada, probably you need to update your info. Maybe the developers should add more hotels slots to be able to enter more hotels where one wants to stay. Thanks for the App. I recommend everyone to use it. Makes traveling easy.

  • Embarrassing

What a joke Canadian Federal policy is. A colossal waste of time. Had our passports and proof of vaccine available, still forced to download this useless app and upload those documents at check-in counter. Didn’t even get asked for the code until later in our travel itinerary. Why are we as taxpayers funding the development of an app that is totally redundant? I’m embarrassed of the leadership in this country that has led to this garbage.

  • Rude customer service

As an American citizen arriving in Canada and returning immediately home to the US on arrival, I was unable to provide a Canadian address which stopped me from being able to adequately fill out the form. When I called customer service for help and guidance with this issue, a man named Fateh continued to read me a generic statement that did not answer my question and then suggested I “come up with an address close to where I was staying” (not sure how since my address isn’t even in Canada). He would not give me an opportunity to explain my question further and was extremely condescending. When it became clear I was not going to receive a clear answer, I requested to speak to a manager, to which he responded by cutting me off and giving me a “warning” as if I were a small child. This form is very difficult to fill out if you are arriving in Canada with no intention of staying in the country, and to make matters worse, the customer service agents are not only rude, but downright unhelpful.

  • Can AP

Very easy to use - thanks
  • It works.

I am not to clever at doing things online so I avoid them wherever possible.
There is no getting out of this but I look forward to the day when it is not necessary, so would prefer to limit my travelling until then.
This opens the door to more issues at check in or at customs for a person that has no intention of breaking the rules.

  • ArriveCAN Review

Having to jump through all these hoops just to visit my 83 old father that lives alone is getting old. I am a Canadian Citizen and just because I won’t get a “vaccine “ that by the way does not stop infection, transmission or sickness I am being discriminated against. I am not allowed to visit my family and friends and every time I cross into Canada I am harassed by constant emails and phone calls. I also have to provide a negative Covid-19 test when I enter Canada but Canadians can travel to the USA and are not required to provide a test even though they can interact with whoever they want and “masking” is not required. Now I have to send an email to and let you know that I have left Canada to reset my ArriveCAN so I can submit my entry information because it won’t let me update my travel plans. The App keeps telling me to update my quarantine status. I usually enter Canada for the day and the program is obviously not set up for that.
I am sure that there are many Canadians that are not vaccinated. Are they being restricted from visiting family and friends or travel to other provinces?
I have been forced to miss out on spending time with my father and brother and it is very frustrating.
