Just contact your insurance carrier for a local provider who does virtual consults. Even my doctor was thinking of dropping this company because of all the complaints she has received from patients.

And then I found Ognomy. Dr Akinnusi is AMAZING! I wondered about telehealth and the at home test, but I feel like he has actually gotten to know me and the at home test provided very interesting results that explained why I was always waking up and why I was so tired. And he shared all of my results with me, walked me through what everything meant, and discussed multiple treatment options. I never felt like I was being bamboozled; he made it clear that the choices were mine to make to do something or nothing at all.
I was able to order my CPAP through a vendor of my choice, but thanks to COVID it wasn’t easy. The Ognomy team called around my area to see what they could find. I ultimately went with an online retailer, and Ognomy immediately reached out to them to figure out what I would need to do to get the therapy results sent to them, then called me to explain everything, and then emailed me to give me the exact information to provide to the vendor. It was so easy.
I’ve been with Ognomy since October and had my machine for about a month. The follow up is amazing. The cost is very reasonable (I have a high deductible plan so I pay most expenses through my HSA; Ognomy handles filing my paperwork with my insurance to help meet my minimum deductible). Scheduling appointments (and changing them) is simple to do through the app, though the team is available to assist if you need. Before every appointment I get a call from the team to confirm my appointment and to answer any questions.
Honestly, this was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health. I have no regrets and I’ve referred friends to Ognomy. If you are experiencing sleep issues and it’s impacting your life, do your body a favor and get the help you need with Ognomy. The process is simple, comprehensive, and effective.

Update: no do not blame your incompetence on a shortage because it took about 4 month for you guys to send the information to a provider. Even after I clearly stated my condition your doctor still went through the process knowing full well it was going to be a waste of time. I express my discontent many times so lying in response to my review saids a lot about this company. On top of it all the providers you guys choose had to cancel the order because you did not send the required paperwork and now you sent my information to another provider who doesn’t event exist. Again I stand with my review and will encourage anyone to skip this and go to an actual sleep doctor.

We apologize that you didn't have the experience you expected, but it was due to circumstances that were unfortunate and out of our control. We explained this to you as it was due to a major PAP manufacturer recalling their machines, which we can do nothing about. We also contacted you regularly for additional support and often went unanswered. Perhaps next time you might contact a business with your concerns before leaving a public review.
