Easy and great service offering!
I put off getting in touch with a sleep specialist for my snoring because I was afraid that I would end up with a CPAP. My wife finally convinced me to make an appointment due to her lack of sleep. I contacted the office of Dr. Rifkin in Buffalo, NY and the office offered me to use the Ognomy app and schedule a virtual visit. The process to create an account was very smooth. My first virtual meeting with Dr. Rifkin was great - he is such a “down-to-earth” provider. He recommended that I complete an at home sleep study and this too was super easy. My results showed mild sleep apnea, which is a great baseline for me to now know. I will try some sleep modifications suggested by Dr. Rifkin and hopefully control my snoring better. The best part is not having to spend a night in a sleep study (which this might be necessary for some and that’s ok) and I know that I am not at risk for any health concerns at this point in my diagnosis.

Great Experience!
Very convenient and user friendly! Doesn’t require a referral to see a sleep specialist. Signing up on the app and completing the initial paperwork was a very smooth process. The telemedicine visits are very helpful and I was able to complete my sleep study and begin CPAP treatment without any problems. Would highly recommend this app to patients seeking a hassle-free experience with a sleep medicine specialist physician. And I’m a fan of Sheepa! :)

Life changing!!
I’m luckily not a sufferer of sleep apnea, but based on my research It’s easy to recommend such a well put together solution like Ognomy for those who are. Highly recommend!!!

Everything about my experience with Ognomy was remarkably easy and seamless from start to finish. Ognomy provides excellent customer service and returns calls/answers questions exceptionally fast. The home home sleep study equipment was not only easy to use but very comfortable to wear while sleeping. They have really taken the hassle out of getting tested for sleep apnea!

If you’ve been putting off a sleep study, download this.
I’ve been putting off doing a sleep study because the thought of people watching me sleep gave me so much anxiety. I went searching for home sleep tests, and came across the Ognomy app. I downloaded it, and got everything I needed quickly. My doctor was informative, and took more time talking to me than most doctors do these days. He didn’t leave any questions unanswered. Hearing from others who have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, their road to get there was NOT as simple as Ognomy makes it. I am excited to see the app grow, and look forward to continuing to work with the Ognomy team.

This app wants too much info
I downloaded this app and began the process of setting up an account. They wanted my email address, ok. Then they wanted my first name, ok. Then they wanted my last name, kind of odd, but ok. Then they asked for my physical address. There is no reason a sleep app needs my physical address. The only reason they would want that info is to send me bunch of crap in the mail. So, I deleted the app.

Here at Ognomy, we are fully HIPAA compliant and absolutely understand your right to privacy. We require exactly the same demographic information as you would disclose to any doctor’s office before your visit. One feature of our app involves a face-to-face video consultation with a board certified sleep medicine provider. For that to occur, they are required to practice medicine in your state of residence. Also, they might have to verify your health insurance for payment with the information you provide. Ognomy facilitates all that in a fully HIPAA compliant manner. Don’t bother
I downloaded the app so that I could get some help with my sleep apnea. I answered all of the questions asked by “sheepa”, which took about 10 min, and includes sharing your health insurance information. I took a picture of my insurance card!!!! After they have all this information “Sheepa” then asks me for my address, and tells me “the service” is not available in my area! WHY WOULDN’T YOU ASK FOR THE ADDRESS FIRST!!! SAVE YOURSELF, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!

App is very functional, well-designed, and the developer has been supporting it steadfastly I think. Unfortunately, without warning, I still snore?? hideous carbuncle that I cannot abide.... Still I LOVE Candy, so can’t be all sweet dreams and burnt doorbells. Too tough, try some blue balls boooy. To dream perchance to sleep? Doris the helpful tech could not have been sweeter....than Candy. The future is right here in this app so download it already and stop reading reviews.

Overall phenomenal experience
I was looking to schedule a sleep study for months with traditional inpatient locations and then COVID hit. I put it off until things started to reopen and then stumbled upon Ognomy. Ognomy could not have been more convenient/efficient. They sent the sleep study to my home and I was beyond thankful I could avoid an in person stay where I’d likely be exposed to COVID, get worse sleep and need to take the morning off work. The process from the diagnosis to treatment was so quick as well. I was dreading getting a CPAP just because how bulky and invasive they look, but the doctor assured that there are less invasive ones and it’ll make a world of difference in how I feel. He was right. Very happy with the doctor and continuity of care, as well as efficiency and ease that comes with the app.

Love this app!
Being a patient that has go in for sleep studies and not done very well this app has changed my life for the better. Now all I had to do was tap the app go in the virtual waiting room and see the doctor. I was able to do all my sleep studies at home in the comfort for my room and it went so smoothly. I wasn’t a fan of sleeping in a different room at a different place so knowing I could be in my own bed made a huge difference . I recommend this app to everyone it’s amazing!
