Stop asking for feedback when trying to capture a read!
Go through about 4 test strips before getting a reading that is not the most accurate. The most annoying part is how it asks for feedback whenever I’m trying to get a capture.
Works Great
No more guessing. Aqua check gives you the answers and recommendations on how to balance your chemicals.
Photo capture impossible
Too difficult to capture picture
Useless
Firstly, you can’t add a pool and a spa.
Secondly, it doesn’t allow for a salt chlorinator.
Thirdly, it doesn’t allow for litres.
Lastly and most importantly, it won’t even recognize the strip when attempting to take a picture.
So it is useless.

Much better than regular dip sticks
I love how easy it is to get the data. The grey pad must be level for the camera to work. I put a towel under it. Love having a history of past readings. Also very easy to delete readings I don’t want to keep. The app also helps me calculate my pool water volume. If you are trying to get a specific pool water volume, make small changes in the measurements until you get the number you need. Be patient.

Easy
Very easy to use, explains the reason why certain chemicals are needed and how much to use.
Quick and Easy
My first pool and I was having trouble telling shades of yellow and pink with the traditional chemicals. This app tells me how much of each chemical to add to get my pool in shape! Really happy.
I never write reviews, but
I had to write a review because i love these test strips. The app makes it super easy to configure your pool. I'm a first time pool owner so i find it super helpful that it tells me what chemicals to add and when. Awesome app.
Great idea Buy
Just shocked my pool yesterday - old test strips and these new Select strips both confirmed 10+ppm chlorine (very dark colors) - took the photo with the app and it told me I was at 1ppm and needed to add chlorine.
I know how to read the strips - there should be little or no color at 1ppm. I can’t trust anything the app is telling me after such a glaring error.
